Staff was very friendly and helpful and I would particularly mention the staff at reception and the ones at the restaurant, including Madusanka and Kumar who served us during our stay there, as well as the restaurant manager (unfortunately I didn't get to know his name but he was very helpful with our baby). We took a very varius breackfast and we spended the day at the pool and in the jacuzzi (on the last floor). We ate a delicious dinner (fish) in Saturday night. The water is not good for drink, so we bought before some bottles (but I think you can also buy from the reception) and the spa/pool area is open from 12 until 20. Sighișoara is like stepping into a medieval storybook—cobbled streets, pastel-colored houses, and a citadel that’s still alive with charm. It’s compact, walkable, and brimming with history, making it perfect for a short getaway or a cultural deep dive. Favourite Places Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas): The panoramic view from the top is breathtaking, especially at sunset. Inside, the History Museum adds depth to the experience. Church on the Hill: A peaceful Gothic church with restored frescoes and a serene cemetery behind it. The climb up the Covered Staircase makes the journey feel like a pilgrimage. Its a beautiful city in the heart of Transylvania which has a rich history and cultural background, with architecture that reflects this. Its situated on both sides of the Mures river and as such is predisposed to thick fog, and high degree of moisture. The city revolves around its medical university and facilities. Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. Beautiful region, very touristy and popular but rightfully so. If you like mountain, fresh air, good food, warm, welcoming people this is the place for you. Amazing landscapes and trails are here and in the surroundings. You can spend weeks here and still leave unexplored places behind.
