Staff was very friendly and helpful and I would particularly mention the staff at reception and the ones at the restaurant, including Madusanka and Kumar who served us during our stay there, as well as the restaurant manager (unfortunately I didn't get to know his name but he was very helpful with our baby). Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. Beautiful region, very touristy and popular but rightfully so. If you like mountain, fresh air, good food, warm, welcoming people this is the place for you. Amazing landscapes and trails are here and in the surroundings. You can spend weeks here and still leave unexplored places behind. Great base for traveling over to Brasov, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fort, Dino Park Much more chilled area. Wonderful La Prominada restaurant down the road. Playground inside & outside, lovely staff and will deliver food to guest house. Also lovely walk in forest just beside there. Rasnov Fort is closed. There are a lot of accomodations, for all tastes and purses. You can find a lot of good restaurans( I liked Vallahia Inn very much). It is very busy on weekends and the traffic on the main road to Bran can get to a standstill. It is a good starting point for hikers for Bucegi Mt. or Piatra Craiului.
