This guest house is in the center of Abisko and next to Abisko National Park. Depending on the season, the midnight sun and the Northern Lights can be viewed from the property and surrounding area.

The guesthouse is located very near (~5 min) to the railway station and the supermarket. We had all we needed in the apartment.
We also booked a transfer to the Kiruna airport. All of a sudden the only highway to the airport was completely blocked for hours because of the car accident. Nevertheless the staff had a plan for such unfortunate situation and we didn't miss our plane. Many thanks for the great job!

Lovely location, close to the main road with a nice view. Very clean, gorgeous little cabin...plenty of room for 2-4 travelers. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Overall, i would rate the place a good base.
Overall, i would rate the place a good base. You are getting a "hostel" experience but more upscale and cleaner. Great location to explore trails etc. Only negative is the cost of food; be prepared for sticker shock. I would highly recommend bringing your own supplies - maybe from Kiruna as you can cook your own food and save $ EUR etc which can be put towards guided activities.

Small village, very quiet.
Small village, very quiet. Far from the agitation of the city. Best place to embrace the darkness and the wild and watch the northern lights. Only one small supermarket in town, most of the activities are happening outside in the nature so be used to outdoor activities.

I have been here eleven times, which must show that I like it very much.
I have been here summer and winter as well.
I mostly hike to Lapporten and Trollsjoen.
On the other hand, I am not a fan of Kungsleden, which for me is a motorway for pedestrians.
