From the balcony of our room in the Ark building the view over the safari park was magnificent. Bambis visited us in the evening. During the guided 2 hour safari tour we saw many of the animals in the park including deer, mouflon and the European bison. Great food at the restaurant and the breakfast was good.

Absolutely magical stay at a charming house on Öland Island! The location was serene. The house itself was cozy, beautifully maintained, and full of character—perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was perfect - the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast, the fika and the dinner were fantastic. The room is spacious and clean with Rituals products in the bathroom :) Very good location and cozy atmosphere. 100% recommended!

Wonderfully quiet location right above the lake but also quite close to town with its stores and restaurants . Easy access to hiking trails (along the beautiful lake side) as well as sauna dock (pricey, and not included in stay) and swimming dock allows for a very relaxing atmosphere. Having bathrobes provided was great, especially after taking a quick swim in the late afternoon/evening. The hotel also offered a very reasonably priced lunch buffet (with several choices of main dishes).

    The Naval museum was interesting and so much bigger than I had imagined. The short guided tour was interesting. Unfortunately the weather was not on the cold side, so doing the boat tours was not so enjoyable as it could have beeen. Good choice of shops in the city. Pedestsrian streets are always good.

    We love the room with a balcony & pool view.

    We love the room with a balcony & pool view. The terrace bar & sun beds area are spacious comfortable. It would be nice if the pool towels are free of charge & bigger. The dinner buffet in the restaurant could have better options for those who have allergies & health issues. All the hotel staff were nice & helpful to our queries. We will surely be back next summer.

    My trip was for the Sweden Rockfest - a four day awesome event. The area has plenty of sunshine - like 20 hours of sunshine a day - to explore around the area. The people are super friendly too. There is a variety of city and country, beach and farmlands. Just a beautiful country.

    Karlskrona was a wonderful surprise for us as we were just stopping over on our way to another destination. We had some extra time, so we visited the Maritime Museum which is excellent and a must-see experience.

    The town doesn't strike me as somewhere to spend a lot of time. It has some interesting buildings and old streets to wander around, there are a couple of interesting museums in the centre but the reason why we go there each year is to see the sommarteater på. Karlshamns Kastell. You need to understand Swedish for this but if you do then this is highly recommended. A brilliant experience each year.

    Pretty coastal town worth a visit in itself. Beautiful flowerpark by the marina and a relaxed atomosfphere in general. Excellent places to have lunch or dinner. Quite a few places worth a visit in the general area - including excellent sand beaches - within half an hours drive or so.

    I stayed in Karlskrona one night to help my son get started at his new school. I will visit Karlskorna again and that time a bit longer. It will be in the spring or in the summer when I imagine Karlskrona is more pleasant to visit.
