The resort is family friendly and was delight for our children and the friends we traveled with. it is a great experience to visit such a modern , rich, ecologic country, which offers so much to see; the beauty of the center, the main harbour center, all the history of it. We appreciate the way Stockholm respects nature, like amazig old oaks in the middle of the town, the facilities for children, mums,and handicaped persons. Transportation is everywhere, very clear and easy. The town offers so much to see, museums, gardens, boats..... Everything is so clean and enjoyable. This is a country which was never destroyed during wars, and could maintain its genuine history. Great and dynamic experience. Arlanda is a beautiful airport with many nice restaurants. It is always clean with much natural light. The only issue I have is going through passport control upon arrival. Sometimes the workers are on a fika break and nobody is working at all. Once we stood there for almost 20 minutes before anyone arrived to check people's passports. On the other hand, the workers are always kind and helpfu,l so I appreciate that. Overall, I would say that Arlanda is one of my favorite airports, having to stay the night there (at one of the airport hotels) is more like a treat than annoying. Getting to the trains, buses, and car rentals is easy and convenient.Guest review byParke - 8.0
Easy access to Stockholm.
Easy access to Stockholm. Good range of shops in the mall of Scandinavia which is right next to the strawberry arena in Solna. The nature reserve at Rastasjons is great as there is a paved path and provides a peaceful close to nature walk with wildlife and you can also cycle round too. There are good transport links using the metro and train. Lots of lovely restaurants of various nationalities eg Greek, Italian and Japanese to mention a few. Uppsala is a nice city, in the short time we were there, we saw the castle, churches, park, historical part, it is a beautiful view also along the water and the view of the bridges. We were also in the pool in Fyrishov - they only had a swimming pool open at the time, but it was a nice refreshment, they also had a sauna there. We went on a trip to Ala to a farm, where they have highland cows and Swedish fika and kardamombulle - my favorite. You move around the region with the UL app, it is worth buying a full-day ticket. If you are traveling to the airport, with the UL app it is free of charge, if you have purchased a 24-hour ticket, if you go by BUS. If you go to the airport with this ticket by train, you have to buy an "airport entrance". To Stockholm you need another SL app or a combined UL + SL ticket, which you can buy in the SL app. We would definitely like to come back here :)Guest review byNoraSlovakia - 10.0

A quiet and safe city with a lot of immigrants. Nice city center with a promenade along the sea that looks like a river. Beautiful surroundings with lakes. It's a bit like being in the suburbs, but it is still easy to get about as the bus leaves from outstide the hotel it is only about 10 mins or so to get to Upplands-Väsby train station. I took a train from there to get to Stockholm city centre (getting off at Stockholm City). The travel ticket allows you 75 mins of travel time so the bus ticket and be used again (including on the train for 75 mins). Note: Stockholm city is literally a couple of mins walk to another station in the city centre called Stockholm Centrum (Stockholm Central Station). Lovely location with a jetty and diving platform on the archipelago. Great buffet breakfasts and dinners with a lovely terrace with a sea view. Near to public transport links to centre of Stockholm. Good bus 211 to bathing beach as well as Ropsten for travel in to stockholm. If you get a week travel pass it can be used on bus train, tram and some ferries. I have shared details in my review, will try to summarize here: - great place to stay on your travels transfer - their shuttle works great, may arrange in advance by message or phone call to the hotel - restaurant great, breakfast awesome with many choices - room is great, enough room, lots of lighting, power outlets and USB ports - there is no bar fridge - hotel is in the middle of nowhere but if you're just transferring it doesn't matter, especially with their great shuttle service - foam mattress comfortable but moves around Bottom line - I highly recommend this place !Guest review byBroncoCanada
