The rooms here are absolutely impeccable, clean, smart, cool, silent air conditioning, reasonable mini bar, complimentary, water, chili are and toiletries. Very warm welcome, staff approachable and friendly couldn’t do enough. Parking convenient. It’s a 15/20 minute walk into town, but if you want the castle it’s around 40 minutes walk as you need to get accross town. However a taxi to the castle is only 8 euros, coming back it was so hot 35 degrees we were at the old town and it was only 4 euros. The walk is through the park if you choose to walk, very pretty. There is a bistro at the hotel, serving snacks and drinks or a la carte. The hotel so has a Resteraunt next door set in a beautiful garden. Food is average. Breakfast here is a la carte and is from 7am, I would say the breakfast is what let the hotel down the most, we had to have breakfast at 7am due to having to leave early, the staff were still vacuuming and the chef not best pleased at cooking an early breakfast and we were served cold uncooked sausages. I would stay here again, as rooms and staff top notch, I’d just avoid the breakfast option.

This was a fantastic hostel located about 15 minutes walk from Ljubljana central and 10 minutes from the central train/bus station. It is set up perfectly for the solo traveller. There are 8 well-kitted beds with privacy curtains and more than adequate storage. The hosts were not present physically but were very contactable over phone. Kitchen well stocked. People comment on lack of air circulation but they state inside that they have an air conditioning system that circulates air every 90 minutes so I didnt have a problem. I used their free luggage storage before checking in and also after checking out which was so great.

I had basement room,it was lovely!Small, but smart designed, no space wasted.Clean and cozy. Breakfast - Really good and delicious, Machine making small pancakes on a spot- just put your plate in, omelette, cheese, little cakes and of course coffee! Staff - Exceptional! Very friendly and helpful.Always meeting you with a smile,would it be housekeeping, reception or bar.Treats you not only as hotel guest, but as a friend. Utilities - Good AC in rooms keeps you cool form outside heat, good gym to keep you in shape.
