Despite not expecting to be picked up I was collected from the airport which was great. I also got to meet lots of the locals too who are so friendly, no tourist trap here, just great people and thanks to Maria for all her help as my Portuguese is limited to hello and thank you!

The showers are hot, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. Our rides to and from the airport were arranged with no issues caused by changing flight times. We exchanged money just downstairs from our room. And when we had the itch for pizza, the staff pointed us in the right direction. I wasn't expecting wifi, much less really good wifi. The breakfasts were simple and exactly what we wanted, all while looking out over the canal. We'd stay again. For sure.

everything was beyond perfect, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and they did everything to make my state amazing. The room was beyond my expectations super clean and had everything I wanted. The spa was amazing. The food was super delicious and creative. I loved how they creat ideas for the dinner and breakfast, which made the experience unforgettable. All the activities were amazing - despite the weather conditions - it was great to live the full experience in the island from being out with the local people to going on a solo boat trip to discover as much hidden beaches as i can.

Super nice little property in the city of Santo António. Carlos’s reception and assistance in arranging a motorcycle was amazing. Breakfast was varied every day with fresh fruit, juices, eggs, bacon was a lovely start to every morning. Carlos arranged a beautiful crab appetizer during the football match and we opted for dinner at the property twice which was delicious and filling both nights. Super grateful! obrigada por tudo!

This gorgeous house felt so homely to us for our stay in Príncipe. Salamão transported us to and from the airport, and helped us organise to rent a motorbike to explore Principe. He also organised a lovely breakfast for us (with some of the tastiest pineapples and fruits I have ever eaten) and he gave us great advice on where to explore in the island. With a motorbike we were only a few minutes away from the main town, and the accommodation is situated well to explore other parts of the islands (like the beautiful beaches). We were kicking ourselves that we only stayed 2 days in Principe and wish we stayed longer. Casas Salomão felt like home to us straight away!

I recently stayed at Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha on Príncipe Island and had a wonderful experience. The guesthouse is beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff, Bete and Tonguinha, are incredibly friendly and take excellent care of the guests. The owner, José Manuel, is extremely courteous and ensures both the guesthouse and its visitors are well looked after. If Booking.com allowed ratings higher than 10, I would certainly give it.
