the hotel is recently refurbished and has a cool, modern vibe.it has a modern art gallery on the ground floor and a cute little shop with items from local artists. having the ferry stop right in front made it very easy to access the main attractions. food was also excellent for both breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    I stayed in the sky wing. Firstly, they gave me a room in the main wing which is comparatively old and small. And the bathtub was also broken. I didn't like that room and it was 305. So I told them I didn't like the room so they gave me a room in the sky wing building without upscaling the price. I stayed in 1191 which is a deluxe room and it was pretty good. The big size room with a good view, the bathroom was clean and overall it was a comfortable stay. The location of this hotel is wow. This hotel is at the center point of everything. BTS is very close that's why I used BTS every time. 7 eleven, Starbucks bars, restaurants these are just in 30sec walking distance which is a big save. Taxis, Tuktuks always remain in front of the hotel. And at night the road becomes very happening so that you will never feel bored. The hotel property is big. There are lots of sitting options. There is a tea shop in front of the hotel named "Pagla Cha" where I used to take masala tea and it was so good. Overall I am satisfied with my stay in the ambassador.

    Bangkok is a vibrant city teeming with life, great food and some amazing sights. It’s not for people who don’t like crowds and traffic though and there isn’t much greenery. Getting around isn’t easy and takes time as traffic jams are common. Recommended sights are MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) (probably Bangkok’s best gallery) Wat Pho, Wat Arun at sunset and the Khon theatre. Recommended restaurant is Ama DimSum opposite Samyan Mitrtown, delicious Chinese Thai. Don’t be frightened to try cheaper food and street food as it’s often very good.

    I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.

    I stayed near the Victory monument , area which is like a hub for public transportation so it was very easy to get around for cheap. There s a nice little park nearby the hotel to get away from all the traffic and relax or do some jogging. Not many big shopping centers , around the victory monument the bigest one was the One center which has a few decent restaurants on the 3 rd floor. The hotels are cheaper around this area and you can go anywahere with bts or bus or grab/ bolt or motorbike taxis etc

    not recommended to book in this hotel. much under expectation and less standard than the rate and photos in booking. all was bad. Especially the hotel charged me with extra night for the checked out day and withdraw from my bank visa without justification, or mentioning this in the policy of the hotel. when I copmlained to hotel and booking, my money never return back to my bank account for one extra night though the booking.com followed them and they lied saying we transferred the money to my bank account after booking complain without transferring the money for the checked out night they took, or providing providing bank statement of the transfer. I am still trying to get my ony back hopeless since they do not answer my messages sent to the hotel through booing and booking is not replying back to me, no valid number I can contact, or message after several trials. both the hotel and booking does not reply, or have easy access for communication to return the money back and send supporting document of the the transfer. BAD SERVICES FROM BOTH HOTEL AND BOOKING.COM who ignored my request after following it up with the hotel at the beginings and promised the money with be transferred back to my account that had been withdrawn from it the check out night as per their complain and communication with the hotel.

    The hotel was extremely hard to find even though I was within 20 metres. The rooms just sit quietly above a dim sum restaurant. Very little signage on the street and no direct direction on booking.com Friendly staff once discovered though. Even my taxi driver couldn't get directions from a shop close by. Needs clarification on web site of location above Dim sum restaurant.

    Good location with everything you need close by. There are several good restaurants a few salons, massage places and a marijuana dispensary. If you go up to the corner, maybe one stop on the subway there is a corner with all kinds of restaurants, bars, and activities at night. The famous Highland dispensary, it was the first legal dispensary in Thailand, is there.

    We feel that the pollution and cleanliness has significantly improved from what it used to be like in Bangkok. Always felt safe. Quite easy to get around but wow.... traffic jams can be a problem - just so many cars! Everyone seemed patient and drove to the conditions. Love the trains. Cheap, quick and clean. The extensive covered walkways above the traffic are wonderful ... gets you away from the traffic and covered for shade and rain. Excellent move Bangkok City. We went to the close-by Cat Cafe twice.
