- From $189.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsThis place is absolutely gorgeous. It went through a rough time during the floods of oct2024. It was hit pretty badly, so they are still working on cleaning and repairing, but they are doing such a great job and it doesn’t impede the enjoyment of the place at all. It even made our stay even more special because we were only a few guests. Take full advantage before it’s bursting with guests again. Chai, the MaitréD, is exceptional and really made our stay! Thank you 🙏Guest review byMichaelUnited States
- From $497.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsThe service and hospitality were 5 star. The property is beautiful. The location was good for walking. Fresh fruit and delicious coffee were the highlights of breakfast, served on the terrace next to the river. There was a large selection at the buffet as well as a menu for orders. The concierge was helpful and arranged airport transportation with ease, as well as several outings/tours. All were great. I think this is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai.Guest review byMiriamUnited States

The room on the 22 floor is so big and so comfortable. Large shower and bath tub. Daily cleaning. Great views from my room. Nightlife abounds. Lots to do inside and out. Delicious food. Particularly I had a mango smoothie every day in the downstairs bar. Hotel can get very busy. I was there during the full moon festival.Guest review byMark AustraliaAustralia

Such a beautiful northern city within easy reach of the mountains, full of history, art and heritage. Fabulous places to eat and drink on every street. Brilliant markets with endless food options and great live music. Plenty of places to get a Thai massage, very reasonably priced. It's easy to fly to Chiang Mai, but why not take the train as we did! - a stunning scenic journey from Bangkok (10 hours but it went by quickly!) ... Chiang Mai is also a safe city with a very low crime rate. We felt safe walking the streets, whatever time of day or night. While you're there I especially recommend taking a cookery course - great fun and naturally delicious!Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape. Thank you to the entire team for making this a stay to remember!Guest review byTanSingapore - 8.0

The homestay was perfect for us because we had a vehicle. It would be difficult for those who do not have a vehicle. We had a great time cycling around Mae Rim, including sections of the "Lanna Trail".Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. The kindness and helpfulness of our hosts made for an excellent stay. The free bikes loan gave us independence. The Fang Hot Springs a couple of kilometres away was fun and convenient. The surrounding scenery of onion fields was very pleasant. We saw many interesting birds including the siting of an Asian Barred Owlet at our breakfast location which completed the enjoyment of our stay.Guest review byFylesCanada - 10.0

The property is far from anything and the road is quite hard to get up especially at night as there are no street lights. The view is easily the main attraction though as well as the bathtub. Food was the Moo Kata which was 490 which was about right for 2 people. Breakfast was okay.Guest review byPitak YindeeamornchaiThailand - 10.0

Had an amazing week, everyone is so friendly and helpful. There is so much to do - elephant sanctuary, cooking lessons and we had a fabulous guide who took us everywhere including Chiang Rae, the White temple is breath taking and the Blue temple are absolutely beautiful. Food is amazing and everything is so reasonable.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0
