No working ATMs can be a problem if you don't have scan and pay. I don't like carrying that much cash. Other than that, its a perfect quiet get away. Everything i needed was in walking distance. Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand. It is less developed with no global hotel chains, but a lot of the locally owned hotels and villas are comfortable and affordable. The beaches are very good and range from secluded to vibrant and bustling. Lots of choices for water sports, fishing, diving, and shopping. The local residents are generally friendly and helpful to tourists, but standard safety precautions are also important to ensure an incident-free visit. The best part of Ko Larn is the fresh seafood.
