Excellent service. Their staff goes above and beyond to make sure that we have a pleasant stay. Being able to access the big water park and kidsclub at their sister’s hotel next door is a huge plus for our family with 3 and 4 years old. Their breakfast has variety of selections and lasts until 11 am. They also serve fresh cold press juice! Our room is very clean, new, and has ocean view. Their beach is very private and has perfect sunset.

**Review: JW Marriott Khao Lak** Wow! Just wow! The JW Marriott Khao Lak is truly an exceptional hotel. Located an hour and a half from the airport, this hotel leaves a lasting impression from the moment you arrive. ### Arrival and First Impressions We were warmly welcomed with a delightful hibiscus drink and given a comprehensive tour of the hotel. They provided us with a schedule of activities, 90% of which were free for all guests. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, and I can't emphasize enough how amazing it was. ### Pools and Amenities The pools are enormous – there are around five or more, including the largest river pool in Asia that winds around the entire hotel. There are dedicated areas for kids, with two big pools featuring various games, while the rest are for adults. The amenities are top-notch, and the staff is exceptionally helpful, kind, and down to earth. ### Room Quality Our room was exceptional. We had two rooms with a living area and buggy service. The suite option is highly recommended over the smaller rooms, as it offers a significantly more pleasant experience. ### Dining The breakfast area is extensive, offering every option you could think of, including live cooking stations. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included one lunch option per person and a three-course dinner per person. The portions were generous and perfect for our group of five. The hotel's restaurants are diverse and delicious, featuring Italian, Thai, Japanese, and international cuisine, as well as grills and pizza options near the pool. All the restaurants were top-notch, and we enjoyed every meal. ### Activities and Entertainment The hotel offers a vast array of activities from 8 am to 8 pm. The fire show on the beach at night was a highlight. We also participated in a bath bomb workshop at the spa, which was very enjoyable.

Plenty to do if you are an active family, mini golf, archery, pool tables, plus water park and much more. My kids loved it and didn’t want to leave and the shuttle to the night market was perfect for souvenir shopping and dinner out

A beautiful quiet little hotel right by the beach. Greeted by really lovely girls with huge smile's. Our room was spacious, clean, lovely big bed which was super clean and comfortable. The bathroom again so clean, soft towels, shower adequate for a short stay. The view,,,wow peeking through the Wonderful tree's the sea lapping in the short distance,. Breakfast was a gorgeous bonus,,left after 2 days feeling relaxed. My poor husband got prawn belly,,,yuky,,the lovely manager rushed off to the chemist for us before left,,thank you so much for your caring hospitality

    The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

    We stayed at the resort in December during a long holiday. Despite the tourist rush, the spacious and well-designed layout of Bhandari meant we had a nice and quiet stay. The bungalow was spacious, with fast WIFI and ample parking at the entrance, just steps away from the beach. While there were a lot of restaurants nearby, we opted to dine in the hotel twice due to the comparable prices, choices, and taste. The staff was very kind, and the Bhandari Spa is a must-try! The knowledgeable therapists provided not only a relaxing experience but also effective wellness treatments. Bhandari spa it the most beneficial spa treatment we've had in Thailand. (and we've been to A LOT). We look forward to making Bhandari our go-to stay during our yearly visits to Phang-nga.

    Our first time in Khao Lak and definitely not our last. What a stunning area and La Vela didn't disappoint. Fantastic location right on the beach. Our room overlooked one of the stunning pools with a partial sea view where we could enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The room was very spacious and well equipped with a good size balcony and seating area. A very comfortable bed and a large shower.. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much of a bother. Excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of options. We didn't try the lobster dinner which is held twice a week but it did look amazing and good value for money. We would definitely stay at La Vela again . Thank you to all the staff.

    This resort is directly on the most amazing beach I have ever seen. The resort has free boogie boards and stand-up paddleboards to borrow for enjoying this incredible natural setting. The room was huge and beautiful. The king bed was sooooo comfy and absolutely enormous. Live piano in the evenings, pool, darts, ping pong - honestly it couldn't be better. Also shops and restaurants and tour agencies are right across the street so no trek into town for services.

    The best accommodation we had this trip. We really loved the concept, with most rooms having pool acces. We were given one facing the pool bar, which was amazing. The whole resort is very well maintained, attention to detail, and really seren and relaxing. Even the main pool doesn't get crowded. Beach is just a short walk, if you want a change of scenery. Plenty of restaurants on the street leading to the main road.

    If you want late nights, loud music and a party life, don’t go to Kho Lak. If you want rest and relaxation, great food and no crowds this is the place. Pick your time of year and the town seems deserted.

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.
