An amazing place recommended to us by travellers we met in Bangkok. The beachfront is one of the best I've seen and the infinity pool was lovely. The hotel is a little older than some but the location is stunning and the room was huge and comfortable. Enormous bed. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Reception person was kind and welcoming. Staff efficient and kind. Lots of free parking. Glorious sunsets.

Very nice place! Even though the hotel is big I felt intimate. Nice water park - adults can also have fun. Comfortable room with everything you need. Very nice service. Hotel mainly for families with children 😊 - it's better to keep this in mind if you're a couple because you probably won't avoid the screams of small children 🙃

    The hotel is like a tropical paradise and very well maintained. I arrived early and they called me to say my room was ready earlier so i could use it at 11 a.m. already. I really liked that. The room is big and really nice. It has all a person needs to enjoy the holiday to the fullest. The breakfast has many options and is really nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpfull and very professional. If you have a problem they solve it for you as quickly as possible. The level of english in the lobby was very good. I was there for 10 nights and i was very unlucky with the weather, but the hotel puts a smile on your face anyway :) :) To be honest, Centara was the most beautiful hotel i saw on Koh Chang. If i ever go back to Koh Chang i will definitely stay there again.

    The room was spacious, clean and featured an excellent bath and beautiful bathroom. The pool is clean and the sun loungers are plenty and comfortable. But what stood out most was the wonderful staff. We both have celiac disease and require some extra care, especially at breakfast or other buffets like during a special night to celebrate Loy Krathong. We could ask questions about the food and when there was little on offer that we could eat at breakfast they made us delicious fresh food. This made our stay much more relaxing and we are really thankful :-) Other staff are also great, like the cleaning lady who's smile seemed to get bigger each time we saw her.

    We usually avoid resorts, but really enjoyed Coconut Beach Resort. It isn‘t the most modern resort around, but that made it all the more charming to us. The rooms are large, comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and attentive. The resort is spacious, clean and the grounds well taken care of. The beach is rather narrow during high tide, but we had no trouble finding a place for our beach chairs in the grassy area. The resort has 2 pools and plenty of shade. The breakfast buffet was awesome, the amount of food choices very impressive. We would definitely come back here again.

    We came in November 2024 and liked it so much that came back in December. It’s great for families, the pool and the beach are amazing and has delicious breakfast with tons of options. The resort has their own convenience store that opens from 9am to 9pm. Good location. Must visit the waterfall!

    Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday. Roads are trecherous to drive, but the views are stunning. Beachfront resort with a nice pool, you have all you need! Some wonderful seafood buffets to uncover and a visit to one of the elephant camps will satisfy your urge to explore.

    A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

    A nice tropical island with white sand beaches, beautifull mountains, waterfalls and rainforests. Very civilized - plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for all kinds of foods and wallet thicknesses. You need to designate the season when to visit: I prefer rainy, or, as locals say "green", with rains every day but quiet and lush nature and no crowds to visit the paradice island.

    Probably what most of Thailand was like 25 years ago - limited beach front developments and no ugly high rise. Plenty of local places close to the hotel to go out to and eat. Not too busy at time of visit as coming into the low season. I would think that the queues to the ferry to get to-from the island must be pretty long during the high season which would be something to be aware of especially if flying out of Bangkok
