I stayed at Janzo House for a week, and didn’t want to leave! The resort just opened a few months ago, but you can immediately feel how much care and thought the owners have put into it. There is a very chill, homey-vibe that isn’t easy to create. The dorm was spotless, cozy, and well-designed with lockers and spacious beds. I slept amazing (rare for a dorm) thanks to the great air circulation (two fans and AC) and soundproofing. I had the option to upgrade to one of their private rooms, which are probably the best value on the island, but opted to just stay in the dorm. The owners were always available to help with anything I needed, even providing me a refresher on how to ride a scooter since I was a bit rusty (they offer rentals on site which was so convenient and affordable). They also gave me the best recommendations for hidden gems and the best beaches to visit on Koh Kood, which made my time on the island better than I could have imagined. I ate here whenever I could since the food was amazing. I’m a latte girlie and appreciated that they use an actual espresso machine, none of that nescafe garbage. Personal favourite breakfast is the muesli, but everything they make is from the heart. The garlic chicken and pad kra pao were to die for. It’s also nice that they have a fully stocked bar and super reasonable prices! The pool was kept spotless and was the perfect place to cool off and lounge on a lazy day. They have the most amazing massage therapist that gives pool-side massages (she’s so good I had four while there). I can’t say enough about Janzo House. If you’re planning to stay, I highly recommend allocating a few more days if you can. You’ll be glad you did (I was sad that I didn’t). Already planning my next stay!

Beautiful home and location with an incredible host. Will absolutely be back. Everything was perfect! Incredibly tidy, the plants and decor are joyous, and the breakfast each morning overlooking the canal and dock was so great.

the bungalow is simply perfect, spacious, and clean. the location is excellent because it's close to the two most beautiful beaches on the island, the staff are 100% available for you at all times, basically if you want to hire a motorbike, they do. If you need to wash your clothes, they do, if you want to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have a restaurant, and the prices are excellent (Koh Kood is not a cheap island), if you want to buy something in the supermarket, they have a minishop, basically everything a guest needs, you find all the facilities in one place. Super attentive staff, delicious food, marvellous island, new motorbikes, everything perfect, PERFECT. (the fried squid from the restaurant is so crunchy that I dreamed about last night, spring rolls is juuuuuuuuuust, fried rice delicious, pad thai perfect, pad kaphrao is so tasty) I mean, everything is just delicious, is literally like, everything what you need, is there.

Excellent Value for the money, in a nice quiet location. Short Walk to the beach, or Kayak paddle down a small river, which was very cool from resort provided kayaks. Amazing, Super Friendly Family of Staff that took care of all my needs and requests.

The amazing family that runs this place! Very clean. Very cozy. Great breakfast options and they have very good scooters.

The host was very kind and friendly. She always paid attention to our needs and had excellent suggestions for us. The breakfast was different each day and the hut was very quiet and peaceful.

hard to describe everything we experienced here in just a few words the hosts were very welcoming, caring, trying their best to go out of their way for our little daughter and us the restaurant they have also has quite a variety of choices and the food was always very good as well as the mojitos I took the cat on-site made our little one joyful and we "chased" after her the moto scooters that one can rent were conve nient no beach nearby but in 5-7 min on scooter one can easily reach a beach the garden is so lovely arranged the room spotless clean the prices fair (we booked only the stay through booking)

Very friendly staff! Great breakfast and good value for your money. Located conveniently on the island and great to explore with a motor bike. Second time staying here :)
