On my first visit, they were working hard to recover from the Covid era, and I truly felt their plight. They had finished some projects and made some improvements the second visit and I hope they succeed. Feel wild and safe at the same time here! The private beach is rocky, but just put on some water shoes and swim anyway. The water is calm and pleasant. It's understandable, but the hotel's responsibility is far above expectations, made me very impressed. The Italian restaurant here is very good. we have a table near the beach which very beautiful view. The pizza is very delicious. Everything is so good. My kids still talk about the pizza there. The staffs are lovely and attentive to everyone. At night there are mosquitoes. But the hotel is located near the mountain. and a lot of trees It's normal to have mosquitoes. If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 8.0

The safest route is to the east beach from Ao Nammao pier where you can safely park a hire car for a reasonable cost. If you don’t have your own transport, there are various options such as taxis.
