While the facilities and services are great, the staff is particularly wonderful. Everyone lives their Thai smiles. The rooms with individual pools live up to the photos. Golf-cart service to go up and down the hill is clever and essential. Hilltop cafe and bar offers stunning views under the trees. Breakfast buffet is very large and varied. We ate two dinners at the resort’s restaurant, choosing local Phuket dishes: very good. But you can enjoy a seamless tranquil resort experience. Natcha, Nam and Toon took good care of us at the two dinners we enjoyed at the resort. Their advice about the dishes we were considering led to some really lovely meals. Sa, Achi, and Aum greeted us warmly at every breakfast, having memorized our room number from the first day. Great smiles and service everyday.

We had good experience. The manager was really helpful. My child had eye infection, the manager drive us to the nearby clinic. All the staffs are so polite and helpful. The meal was prepared upon request and it was really good. My child who is picky eater, enjoyed the food prepared.

Location is very close to the beach. Fairly quiet at night, no loud scooters driving by or horns honking. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in since arriving in Thailand. The room was very clean with comfortable linens and towels. Air conditioning was very good, and a TV if you need on rainy days. Every time you walk in, the hotel always smells nice. Breakfast was great for a small place and included in the price! I had them do my laundry while here as well. You can also rent a scooter if you choose. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and always smiling. Overall an excellent price for the value! As an experienced solo traveler, I would definitely recommend staying here. Actually, I just decided to stay one more night ha!

Idyllic Island of International Fame

Thailand’s largest island, Phuket has a mountainous landscape leading down to lush, green palms, warm, turquoise seas and soft, golden sands. Patong is its most developed resort and is well known for outrageous nightlife. There are lots of clubs, bars and restaurants in the main town and it also has a fantastic beach lined with hotels and resorts.

To the south is Karon, home to the 2nd largest beach and offshore coral reefs that are good for snorkelling. Quieter Kamala also has coral reefs and good surfing conditions, as do the curved beaches at Kata.

The island’s airport is in the north and there are lots of Phuket hotels near the airport in Mai Khao and Nai Yang, where sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. In Bangtao to the south there is a great range of Phuket hotels with private pools on Booking.com, while around the corner in exclusive Surin there are often typical Thai long boats bobbing up and down in the rolling waves.

On the other side of the island Chalong has an impressive Buddhist temple and is a popular spot for kitesurfing. Neighbouring Panwa has shallow water coral and the Phuket Aquarium to explore. The Phi Phi islands are off Phuket’s eastern shores and their idyllic scenery makes wonderful day trips.

My wife and I were incredibly impressed with the level of service from all hotel staff. We stayed in a Club One Bedroom Suite Ocean View Balcony. The room and view were fantastic. The big, big bonus for us was utilizing all the cluhouse facilities associated with our room category including the wonderful breakfasts, the happy hour complimentary canapes and drinks including cocktails and the private infinity pool. But the star of the show in overall terms was the charming hospitality by all of the Clubhouse Team. All of the wait staff, including the kitchen staff and housekeeping. In particuliar we would like to thank the oustanding service provided by Joy, Arm, Nan, BouBu, Kit and Aunuwa. They were always very attentive, professional and welcoming. We felt they were trying to make us feel special and they succeeded as we did. In addition we were made to feel very cared for by the lovely and helpful Guest Relationship Managers Nook and Ja. We had some nice long chats. Thank you for everything.

I had a truly relaxing stay at this beautiful and tranquil hotel. The spacious, apartment-style room with a balcony, kitchenette, and living area made it feel like a home away from home. I especially loved the luxurious bathroom with dual sinks, a deep bathtub with salts, and a separate shower. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The Indian/Thai restaurant on site was exceptional—hands down the best Thai meal I’ve had in Phuket. The location in Mai Khao is ideal—just a short walk to the local village and a long, peaceful stretch of beach with a boardwalk leading to nearby resorts, beachside restaurants, and massage spots.

We enjoyed our stay, truly! We were looking for a place to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and having stayed at Rosewood in Vienna and amazed by it, decided to try it in Phuket. Very nice decor, beautiful view, very attentive staff ( prepared a cake for us and a rose petals bath ). The room is perfectly clean and nicely decorated, amazing view. It's not as big as I imagined, but we stayed outside at the beach so it want an issue. Nice cuisine at both restaurants and breakfast was something we really enjoyed every day. Good kids club

The location is unreal. Specially for a room right on the water it is bliss. You can watch the sunset from your balcony. You can swim off the rocks in the front of the hotel but I recommend wearing reef shoes. The water is beautiful. I loved my stay and can not recommend it enough. Plus it is such great value for money please don’t ever change.

Central Patong Beach is very busy and congested, personally...

Central Patong Beach is very busy and congested, personally not my recommendation, however it is much more quiet at either end away from the central area. I would more recommend Kata (although it is wall to wall sunbeds - unbelievable really) and Karon Beach and highly recommend Kamala Beach.

The hotel is in a great location on top of the old town and...

The hotel is in a great location on top of the old town and seconds from great shops, coffee bars and a vast range of venues. It is an excellent value place to stay if you want to be in the centre. The old town is great for the Sunday walking street and has everything to offer. A selection of different music artists, brilliant choice of street food and lots to spend your money on. Thoroughly recommend.

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life,

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life, We didnt enjoy the beaches the amount of rubbish in the sand and water is very sad- not just Kata we found the all the Phuket beaches the same, very sad or maybe we are very lucky in NZ to have beautiful rubbish free beaches

Karon Beach is very crowded and not as clean as you might expect for a tropical paradise. There are a lot of people, and many vendors approach you offering jewelry, massages, and other services. If you enjoy being in a lively, busy atmosphere with lots of people around, it’s fine. But if you prefer calm, quiet water and space to relax without crowds, this is not the best beach for that. Overall, it’s okay but very crowded, and the experience depends on what you’re looking for.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink close to the beach, parking is ample and the sunset is awesome! Two 7/11's provide your chilled wines, beers and spirits. Horse ridding along the beach is worth a go!

Kamala Beach is absolutely beautiful with stunning views!

Kamala Beach is absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It can get a bit busy, so I recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated because it gets very hot during the day. Overall, a great beach experience!

Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area. Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

Friendly Thai people, peaceful environment, and a great location near the new township and Nai Harn Beach—much nicer than the usual Patong area. Plenty of halal food and convenience stores nearby. A perfect healing spot.

It was a very refreshing stay in the property which was full of greenery and good views of beach from the huge balcony attached to the suite. Did not want to leave the property so early and definitely want to come back again.

Recommendation for restaurants = "My Front Yard" is a new location with several different types of restaurants. Ate at three of them and the food and service was excellent. Recommend "Home Sweet Home" as the close by go to coffee shop.
