- From $94.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 486 reviewsI had the top floor of my cabin. Each cabin has a top room and a bottom room. My room had a beautiful front wall of windows and sliding glass door overlooking the small pool and beyond that the restaurant and beyond that a beautiful view of the water and Naiharn beach. Wonderful room, with comfortable table and chairs, couch, fridge, and a closet for your clothes. The restaurant across the road was delicious and there is also a well stocked market for fresh fruit and beverages plus anything else you might need.Guest review byLeighUnited States

Very clean rooms, spacious rooms, very nice pool, very good food and a big variety of food too, close beach, there's a gym and a tennis-court, we could just order a tuktuk and travel wherever we wanted... The line of restaurants was really nice but regarding the beach, it’s over crowded with agents trying to sell beach activities so there wasn’t a peaceful space where you could just chill and actually go take a swim at the beach which was a bit disappointingGuest review byNatashaUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.Guest review byDominicUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)Guest review byRuth WalkerUnited Kingdom - 6.0

If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 8.0

I am considering retirement in HY and this first stay was a real help to decide. I really like HY. There is so much I haven't seen on this trip but I will return in a couple of months. BOLT is a great way to get around, average journey price 55 baht (april 2025) BOLT drivers are amazing, you can have a car turn up in 2 minutes and be on your way. The selection of food in HY is off the scale. I have not met one person who was unkind or rude. I have had a couple of bad experiences in cafes with cold food or slow service but nothing to put me off returning to this city.Guest review bymikeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is natures beauty, communication could be better on both ways to ensure you get the most out of your trip. Whenever I asked for the boss the would not give the phone to him, even though I was returning his calls.Guest review bySyedaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It is worthwhile taking the half-day island tour because there is so much to see. The Lamai night market is worth a visit. The food is cheap but really tasty. They also have specials on drinks. The clothing is good and reasonably cheap and, among other odds and ends, some leather goods and souvenirsGuest review byRowenaSouth Africa - 10.0
Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family...
Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family instantly and you honestly feel that the hotel is your Thai home. My family and I will never forget the wonderful facilities, food and warm feeling we received from everybody at the Pacific Club. My sons wanted me to mention Ron and Joso who made their stay by always stopping for a chat. I could not recommend to a family a better hotel in Phuket. Each evening you can ask reception to organise a tuk tuk to take you to Karon main strip for a couple of pound and on a Tuesday and Friday there is a fantastic night market at the temple. Well worth checking out. The best places to eat (apart from thd lovely menu at the hotel) are the tiny restaurants down the side streets. The ones with 2 or 3 tables and plastic chairs where you can see the chef. We ate some of the best food of our lives for unbelievable prices. Leaving a tip in these places goes a long way!Guest review byhazelUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Not the nicest part of island.
Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom
