- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 341 reviewsEasily our best vacation experience ever. The room was expensive but it has very high value compared to American resorts. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The whole experience in the resort was very customer centric. All the villas offered fantastic privacy and a great way to recharge. Particularly loved the private pool. Free breakfast every day was so awesome. Tons of fresh fruits and tropical drinks. This place really made us fall in love with Ko Samui and Thailand. They also offered some experiences and excursions. We did the Thai cooking class in the resort which was delicions. We also went to zipline and elephant sanctuary from the resorts. Very convenient to have them pick you up.Guest review byChangUnited States
- From $418.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 881 reviewsAbsolutely everything! From the warm welcome, super nice explanations and showing around to the very last transfer to the airport. Everyone was super friendly and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The villa was simply amazing, I was a bit nervous about the outdoor bathroom, but the feeling faded instantly and showering next to palm trees proved to be so nice! The restaurant was super cute, by the beach and there is really good food. We tried the Spa on a rainy day, which was a very nice experience as well. The SALA app is easy to use and being able to book transfer in different places on the island is a plus. Thank you for a great holiday!Guest review byAlexandraDenmark
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 653 reviewsThe decoration of the hotel and the room is very nice, comfortable and creating a special distinguished, yet relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is right on the beach and you have a nice view from the pool to the beach and nearby Koh Pangan island. The restaurant is excellent and you will find many other options in walking distance, if needed. We preferred however to eat at the hotel's restaurant which is excellent. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel very special.Guest review byHans AndreasSwitzerland

Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.Guest review byDominicUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)Guest review byRuth WalkerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It is worthwhile taking the half-day island tour because there is so much to see. The Lamai night market is worth a visit. The food is cheap but really tasty. They also have specials on drinks. The clothing is good and reasonably cheap and, among other odds and ends, some leather goods and souvenirsGuest review byRowenaSouth Africa - 6.0
Not the nicest part of island.
Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The park is huge and amazing! So much to do and see.
The park is huge and amazing! So much to do and see. What I didn’t like was the entry sign with the discriminatory fees listed. In English, “ Foreigners 200 baht “, then, written in Thai, “ Thai citizens 40 baht “.Guest review byMarkUnited States - 10.0

Love the coastal areas & the variety of beaches in Mae Nam as well as the differing local food cultures. I especially liked the relaxed beach at Baan Fah Resort where the water was deep enough to swim just a short distance from the shore - a truly great beach. The best coffee house in Samui has to be Hachiya Coffee Roastery. And I highly recommend G- Bike Rentals.Guest review byAlanNew Zealand - 10.0
The Fisherman's Village was fantastic.
The Fisherman's Village was fantastic. No car or scooter access at night made for lovely walks along the street, seeing the markets and bars and restaurants in relative peace. Plus none of the typical sleazy Thai bars/clubs.Guest review byChrisAustralia - 4.0

We were planning on 2 nights but changed plans and left after 1 as there is nothing to do on the town but look at shops. One temple to visit if wanted. Wish we hadn’t stayed the one night! Ok for a transfer through to the islands but nothing more in our opinion. Our taxi took us to the wrong ferry office which was annoying and no one really helped us find the correct one, thankfully we made it in time.Guest review byKimUnited Kingdom - 8.0
I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.
I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.Guest review byMarkAustralia - 8.0
