Chiang Mai was great.
Chiang Mai was great. Local restaurants in and outside of the city. If you feel brave enough. It’s worth hiring a car and heading into the hills and mountains away from the city as the countryside and national parks is stunning. There a lot of little gems the normal tourist trails worth exploring. I ate at several different restaurants which weren’t the normal tourist restaurants and the food was great and cheap.Guest review byhowardUnited Kingdom - 4.0
“The beach itself is not among the best on the island.
“The beach itself is not among the best on the island. It lacks proper facilities, and umbrellas and lounge chairs must be rented separately. Overall, if you are looking for crystal-clear blue waters and soft sandy beaches, this may not be the ideal choice.”Guest review byMohamedUnited States - 10.0

Opinion is divided on pattaya as lots of people see it as just an adult entertainment city and nothing else but there is so much more too it. Due to the vast array of different people who visit pattaya there are hundreds of diverse shops restaurants and services which cater to all cultures and tastes and you can sample them all there is no frowning on of ethnic backgrounds in pattaya you can be from anywhere and you will be welcomed. Another interesting thing about this place is it is very busy yet you can find many tranquil relaxing places to chill amongst the madness. It’s a must visit place and you will find it infinitely interesting if nothing else.Guest review bymatthewUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.Guest review byDominicUnited Kingdom - 6.0
If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...
If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 8.0
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)Guest review byRuth WalkerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you consider to come to Pattaya for a holiday - Pattaya South is a good choice, away from the noisy and bustling Walking Street, with a good beach nearby and sunk into dosens if not hundreds of bars cafees shops markets, well, and massage parlors too.Guest review byDarth AlexUkraine
