The indoor pool and spa / relaxation area are also really nice. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and decorated with great taste. Breakfast was excellent and the staff provided great restaurant recommendations. I would definitely return!

First of all I would like to thank hotel Carlton as I had to cancel two times due to various objective reasons and both times I was not charged although cancellations were a day before arrival. The third time I finally came. The staff was professional and helpful. Rooms are exactly like in the pictures, beds are causy and the breakfest has a very solid variety of food. The internet was excellent as well options available on TV

Feriel is super sweet.
Best stay in Tunis. Sadly I only got to stay there for one night on my last night.

Absolutely lovely property located in THE prime location in Sidi Bousaid. The rooms are beautifully decorated with high-end bedding and extremely comfortable beds. The included continental breakfast is beautifully presented with excellent coffee. All of the staff is as professional as they are gracious. We will return without hesitation!

I think three days were just right for the stay.
I think three days were just right for the stay. One day around Sidi Bou Said area, one day in the Tunis medina and one day in Bardo museum and archeological sites. I missed Bardo museum because it is closed on the Mondays. Taxi drivers try to rip off tourists as normal. Negotiate 50% or less of the asking price.

This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. There are nice places to eat nearby and historic places to visit.

Sidi Bou Saïd is a magical place full of charm and light. 🌿 The white and blue streets perched above the sea offer breathtaking views. Everything is within walking distance — you can easily explore the whole village on foot, and even reach the ancient ruins of Carthage, just 2 km away.
For food lovers, I highly recommend Dar Zarrouk and Le Bon Vieux Temps — two of the best restaurants in Tunisia, both offering delicious dishes and stunning sea views. 💙

Nice area. A lot of the shops and stuff are relatively spread out. Really nice people who genuinely help you. Taxis are a bit of a pain from the airport, as they were a little expensive to what I would have thought. However you have to bargain with them a bit.

The location of Dar Salah Bey is very good and has access to everything nearby, the house is cosy, loved the architecture and design, but the owner of the property is required to improve the facilities and kitchen equipment, like good knives for cooking, a new set of forks, spoons, and cooking tools, also provide a good iron and iron board, fix the leakage of a tap connected to the washing machine, provide new and fresh bed covers and sheets, and also provide clothes drying rack, as we struggled to dry our clothes.

Bed is comfortable, strong WIFI, hot water is adequate for shower, room temp is perfect for sleeping, generous breakfast and hospitality of Hakim is very much appreciated. Beyond customer satisfaction. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.The location is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a solo traveller. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The Saharan trips are the best (Star Wars sets, off-roading in the desert, camel rides, a bit of hiking and climbing); Sidi Bou Said is beautiful but packed with tourists. The Bardo Museum in Tunis is spectacular. The food is amazing; shout out to Bab Tounis restaurant in the Medina. Go to Carthage and also the vineyards. There's so much to do in this country—plan at least 10-12 days.

Four Seasons is a lovely place to relax with the family. I suggest a 5 day visit so one can then plan day trips to Hammamet and Djerba as well. one could also spend 3 days at four seasons hotel and then 2 nights in Hammamet if you really want to enjoy a beach.

La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day.
I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs.
We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.
