They gave us a gift souvenir.
People are so sweet and nice.
The place was great. It's an actual old Ottoman style building that was kept generation after generation and later transformed to an hotel, so the experience you get is unique.
Everything was nice and perfect 👌🏻

SpainVery happy with our stay here. The location is great - right on the edge of the Medina, so both easy to access the Medina and easy to leave the Medina. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the rooftop view was very nice. The building itself was beautiful, especially some of the rooms on the way to the elevator. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which was on the expensive side but offered a good menu and atmosphere. Everyone on staff was very kind and helpful.

Bargaining (the prices are higher than they should be, so do not forget to bargain) 2. NEVER buy anything from the stalls outside of monuments. They usually sell tooooo expensive, even if you bargain to a quarter of the price, it is still expensive. I had a very bad experience, unfortunately. 3. Be careful with your pockets and be aware of using your phone in the streets. 4. The prices in the cartage land are very good for buying handicrafts. 5. This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. Nice area. A lot of the shops and stuff are relatively spread out. Really nice people who genuinely help you. Tunis is a pleasant city to visit, among others due to its friendly inhabitants. The Bardo Museum is a must-see whereas places such as Cathago and the other coastal areas of the city are worth visiting. The Medina was a bit run down, yet it was enchanting and it felt safe. La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou).
