- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 100 reviewsGreat place to stay! Nice room with fan in a good neighborhood / convenient location (short drive to center of town, or can walk in ~20-30 min). Safe area with food shops nearby. The owner and her sons are very friendly and welcoming. They can help arrange airport pickup or a driver for island tour, as well as recommend tourist spots to visit. Wonderful breakfast with local fruits. I highly recommend Dayspring!Guest review byLaurenUnited States
- From $288.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 292 reviewsThe STAFFS with Fiona and team from the front desk, breakfast, room service, Bou and the team at the pool and bar, maintenance, and security. Truly felt the Tongan warmth with them. The ambiance and the fact that their landscaping are veggies and fruits for hotel use is the perfect touch. Location was accessible to everything in town, neighboring villages, and ferries to outer islands.Guest review byTauUnited States

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 133 reviewsI loved the ambiance of days gone by. HOWEVER, the facilities were modern ( ie; AC, hot water, cleaning service daily, etc. ). The free Continental breakfast was fine. The restaurant was excellent. It was pretty much full every night.Guest review byVarjabedianUnited States

A great stop over for connecting flights to the outer islands of Tonga. Loved the blow hole coast, good idea to hire a car to get around. The central market is worth checking out for fresh fruit, veg and craft. The Seaview Lodge Restaurant was our favourite place to eat. Wanted to try the Korean restaurant too but it wasn't open on the dates we visited.Guest review byNicola FNew Zealand - 8.0

It's a small place, but there is variety of experience here - the vibrant market, the port area with street vendors, restaurants and 'fishing pigs', the very popular Friends restaurant, open all day and evening and serving good food, reasonably priced ...the more you look, the more you find!Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Nuku’ alofa isn’t set up for tourism.
Nuku’ alofa isn’t set up for tourism. They don’t really understand what customer service means or they just don’t care. While the other islands are beautiful the mainland has very little to offer in terms of interesting experiences.Guest review byMelindaNew Zealand
