I was so pleasantly surprised with our stay. The room was sufficient for my friend and I and the bathroom was MASSIVE. The water pressure was great and hot water was consistent. Breakfast was included in our stay and that was important so we could start off our early mornings in Cappadocia. There was a young hotel staff always running about tending to guest and offering tea, he was a great help and joy to have around. The view from the carpet terrace and basically anywhere you looked out from was simply breathtaking. The overall design of the hotel was something I'd never seen before and was pleasantly surprised by it. I really liked the vibes! They also allowed us to keep our luggages at the hotel until our flight at 11pm. The location though not right in the centre of town, was close enough to walk to (about 5-10 minutes) and we actually really enjoyed our walk to/from the town centre, especially after a meal. We met neighbours and looked at the other properties on the way there! Do note it is not a "cave hotel" if that's something you want. I didn't and it definitely met my expectations. Personally, I truly enjoyed our stay at Garden Suites Hotel. It's great for the value and left me with a warm feeling in my heart. Thank you for the great stay!

We loved everything about Seki Cave Suites! From the location, to the rooms, to the wonderful staff and even the cats and dogs that roam in and near the property. First of all, the location. This is arguably one of, if not the best location for hot air balloon sightings. The balloons literally fly over the property, sometimes low enough that you can touch them! As long as the balloons fly, you are guaranteed to have a great time sightseeing right at your (hotel room) doorstep. But for an even better experience and view, you can climb up the hill on top of the property to see the balloons preparing for flight and slowly ascend and eventually fly overhead! There is no other word to describe it but MAGICAL! Note though that the hotel is in Cavusin, which is actually a good thing because it is quiet and peaceful but near enough so you can take a cab to Goreme center (which the hotel will gladly arrange for you) for less than 80 liras. Secondly, the cave rooms. This in itself is an experience. Especially once you get to know the relevance of the caves in the area (as actual living quarters for people in Cappadocia up until the 1950s). And Seki’s cave rooms feel authentic and are huge! Third and most importantly, the staff. They are the best! It would have been completely acceptable and understandable for a hotel with such a wonderful location to have staff members that are lukewarm or even slightly rude. After all, the location vis-a-vis the hot air balloons should be enough reason to choose this hotel regardless. But no. The staff is as wonderful, even moreso, than the location. You instantly feel welcome and well taken care of. They can (and did for us) arrange all the tours for you. They even paid for our cab ride to Goreme Center during our first night! Just awesome people!

The service, the staff, the location, the views from the hotel, and the breakfast were all amazing. I was a little nervous not knowing how I’d like it since I was just seeing online pictures but the hotel was even more beautiful in-person. My family was completely content with our stay. We were there for 3 nights and 4 days, comfortable the entire duration of our trip. Thank you, Hera Cave Suites for such a memorable stay.

    we’ve had an amazing stay here and we would love to visit again!! it literally felt like visiting friends or family, the staff were so friendly and the place was homey and comfortable! the boutique hotel had 8 rooms only, with a nice terrace, and a kitchen/ common area for breakfast etc. I imagine it would be so nice for balloons viewing, although we were very unlucky that the balloons were cancelled during the week of our stay due to weather conditions. honestly we can’t thank the guys enough for making our stay memorable and sooo amazing! they suggested places to visit and were very prompt with responses on the app msgs and even with assisting us with restaurants rsvp and tours as well! they also had an amazing Turkish breakfast!

    Me, my Mom and Dad had a great time at Elite Cave Suites! The staff was super helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean and charming. The hotel is conveniently located near the center, offering a beautiful view of Göreme. Our stay in Cappadocia was extra special, all thanks to this awesome cave hotel. Big thanks to Enesh!     Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

    Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

    Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

    It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

    The old civilization and their remains is a main attraction.. the monk valley view is good and caves of this city is lovey to watch .. night dance live show is wonderful .. u can have a green tour there if u want to explore more about the city .. and hot air balloon is one of the main attraction of cappadocia…

    I was surprised by how overly "tourist-y" Goreme was.

    I was surprised by how overly "tourist-y" Goreme was. The restaurants didn't offer traditional Turkish food, everything was very overpriced, the whole town came across as flashy and overdone to me. In hindsight, I wish we had stayed in one of the other smaller towns in the region.

    Beautiful and quiet place.

    Beautiful and quiet place. Less busy and less expensive than Georme. Locations near Uçhisar castle is very lively but rule is same. closer your stay to main hub costly and busier it gets. Less than 10 mins drive to Georme town centre. Uchisar castle is worth visiting. Pigeon valley is 10 mins walk
