We came here with toxic food infection from another hotel, and the managers were very nice and attentive to make us feel as good as possible. The hotel is extremely close to The Rock, a 5 minute walk to the beach and can be seen directly from the beach. It's worth getting there at least once to take a picture, but the food is better at the hotel restaurant and it's not expensive. We stayed here for 4 days, during which we tried almost every food they have on the menu and I can say that it is very tasty (they also have an extremely good pizza). The bungalow we stayed in was very clean, just like in the pictures. A small suggestion, to bring adapters for UK socket with you if you are traveling from Europe. The place is very quiet, with a very beautiful beach and without much seaweed. Also, in the area there are not so many Maasai people or people who will approach you with excursions. The hotel offers you different packages with excursions that can be taken directly from them without having to resort to all kinds of locals who may not offer you the same safety or trust. They can also call you a taxi to get to different places on the island, as well as transfer from/to the airport with one of the best drivers, Mustafa. It is a hotel that I recommend with confidence, a hotel that I definitely want to come back to, where you can relax and enjoy the Zanzibar vibe that it offers you, combining the modern with what it offers you the island.Guest review byAndreiRomania

Truly enjoyed the pristine beach and the laid back nature of the place. Totally enjoyed several meals at Fish Restaurant which were absolutely delicious. I tried Kingfish, Changu, Perch, White Snapper, Prawns etc. The seafood was phenomenal. We also enjoyed seeing the turtles and the artwork at several curio shops. Zanzibar is beautiful and a very safe city. They have an organized transport system for tourists . I travelled to Nungwi beach and it was really a beautiful place. It was not crowded and the water was very clear and the water sports activities and so many . There are very many eateries all around . Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . The sea and beach with super soft and white sand are absolutely fabulous and relatively clean. I got bitten by sand fleas on my legs because I spend a lot of time in the sea and walked barefoot. Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable.
