Our stay at this guesthouse was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, varied, and filling. The location is great, as you can walk to two of the best beaches — Kendwa or Nungwi. It takes about 25–30 minutes on foot to reach each beach. We are very satisfied with our stay. There’s also a great restaurant just about 50 meters away, where the food is excellent.

The villa in perfectly maintained, the chef’s food is best we had so far. Ralu and Lee and very welcoming. Really really recommend.

Wonderful Vacation Days in a Great Accommodation I had the pleasure of spending a fantastic vacation here. The accommodation was not only beautifully located but also very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful – I felt welcome from the very beginning. Whenever I had questions, both the owner and the staff were always there to assist me. The location was simply perfect! There were many restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel is right by the sea – ideal for daily swimming and relaxing. The food was another highlight: freshly prepared every day and absolutely delicious. What I especially loved is that this accommodation is perfect for everyone – whether you’re traveling as a family, solo, or with friends, you’ll feel right at home. The rooms are also aesthetically designed and very cozy. Another great aspect was the help with planning daily excursions. The host assisted me in organizing my day, and everything was arranged professionally and smoothly. I felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this accommodation!

Set in Jambiani, in the middle of a local village , Zanzistar Lodge boasts a sun terrace with outdoor pool and is located just a short stroll away from the beach.

The rooms feature trendy and minimalistic design and the beds are draped with a mosquito net. There is a safety deposit box and the private bathrooms are fitted with a shower. Very good location, few steps (maybe 50 m or even less) from the beach, with their own restaurant ( very nice and cosy) on the beach, where you can leave your things and go to the sea. The food is good, for breakfast a lot of different things. The outdoor space is decorated in very nice tropic style with a pool and lot of palm trees and with nice artistic details. The rooms are big and also very nice with a lot of natural light, great bed and very clean. The staff and the owner are very professional and helpful. I had a really terrible sea sickness one day and the owner responded immediately with some medicine and offered to take me to the doctor if I needed. Luckily the medicine helped. Also some restaurants and small stores just few steps from the lodge and you can go for a walk even in the evening. The village is quiet. Locals are very friendly and I felt totally safe despite the fact that I travelled solo. I would warmly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!

The breakfast was plentiful, a buffet and you can order from the menu as well. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Had an incredible seafood risotto. This place is magical, artistically decorated, beautiful rooms & right on the gorgeous beach. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Francesco made sure I had everything I needed. Zanzibar House was a true oasis of peace & relaxation.
