I was given 2 bottles of water each time they cleaned the room which is really good. Zanzibar was very Hot so i am very glad the room had AC and a ceiling FAN. I liked that the bathroom had a water heater because i prefer hot showers. The staff were friendly and nice from the cleaning staff to the receptionist to the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant. The swimming pool was clean and the beds by the pool were more than enough for the guests. the hotel is located in a quiet area so i got to rest and enjoy my vacation away from the noise of the city. the restaurant food was amazing. i liked having meals with the view of the ocean. Also as a solo traveller woman, I felt safe here. Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. The sea and beach with super soft and white sand are absolutely fabulous and relatively clean. I got bitten by sand fleas on my legs because I spend a lot of time in the sea and walked barefoot. Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable.
