I really enjoyed my stay in Chernivtsi.
I really enjoyed my stay in Chernivtsi. It's a very historic city, with lots of interesting European style architecture. And for history buffs like me, there's lots of museums to visit. The city is fairly old for the Eastern European region with lots of history, having been a part of the Kyivan Rus, the Principality of Moldavia, the Ottoman Empire and then Austria, under which the city grew and flourished like never before. Chernivtsi has many architecturally interesting buildings, in particular, the university is well worth a visit. It features numerous restaurants with very good menus at not-so-expensive prices. Tour guides are readily available to show the city and explain its sights. Our stay there was too short to take full advantage of the sights.Guest review byFrankUkraine
