It's an amazing place to take your spouse for a staycation. It's so relaxing; the environment is quiet, and the staff are ready to assist you in everything. I was assigned a personal butler. Sandra was amazing. A big shout-out to all the staff, but Sandra made my stay with my wife so pleasant. I will definitely book and go back to Divine Resort for my next vacation in Uganda. The place is 9/10 for sure. It's expensive but worth every penny.

The best hotel I stayed at in Kampala, very modern and with great service. I also love the location because it's very near most of the popular restaurants and bars, so it's very convenient to go out. However there is also noise coming from the bars, which can be tough for those with light sleep (not my case).

Internet was excellent. Hotel had its own restaurants, Two malls were within easy walking distance. I have used this hotel on previous visits to Kampala, and have always been happy with it.

We loved the hospitable nature of the staff. My fiance's words on departure "I'm going to miss being treated like royalty". The manager, Kumar, is impressive at his job, and you can see this flow down to the rest of the staff. Everyone was so keen on helping and dedicated to making our stay more than special. Indeed it was a great vacation and birthday.

I love Uganda but hate Kampala with a passion.

I love Uganda but hate Kampala with a passion. I can't think of any good reason to spend time in a dirty city crammed with hooligans on motorbikes, pretentious politicians, terrible pollution, and craters masquerading as potholes. If you have to come for business so be it but get out as quickly as you can. The rest of the country is beautiful.

Dear All, I would strongly advise against booking this property. The photos shown online are completely misleading, and the actual property is nothing like what is depicted. The house is entirely different from what was advertised. To avoid losing your hard-earned money, I highly recommend that you reconsider booking this property and explore other options instead. A fast paced city with a lot of history and culture.

A fast paced city with a lot of history and culture. The Kasubi tombs, the grand Mosque, The Matyrs, the Bahai temple , Owino market are all very interesting place that I visited and is highly recommended for tourists. There is however heavy traffic so you need to plan properly.

Kampala has very busy roads, mostly from the boda boda transport. They confused me when crossing because they came from all directions, but I was impressed by the fact that there were no accidents on the roads in the confusion. I enjoyed the laid back kind of old lifestyle with the old school music that related to my age group wherever you walk around. Most of all I loved the natural food wherever I went. I did not get a chance to visit the source of the Nile
