This was a great hotel in Kisoro. The facilities were great, it has breakfast included with many different options and they were tasty. The host, Ivan, is an encyclopedia of knowledge on Uganda and surrounding areas. He helped book a tour for me and also transport to the border with Rwanda. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great night at the homestay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast is served on site and dinner is just a short drive away. Both were delicious. Our host Emily went above and beyond to make our stay better and helped us sort our Gorilla Trek the next day. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mgahinga!

The food! Hands down the best food we had in Uganda. Furthermore everybody is very nice at the lodge and the rooms have a great view.

The variety of breakfast and dinner offerings were delightful, and we had the same waitress for all our meals who was efficient and pleasant. Our standard room below the pool was quiet, clean and roomy.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Kabale, Amasiko Homestay Lake Bunyonyi is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

It was stunning. We’re so happy we got the room with the balcony because it had such a beautiful view and we really enjoyed staying out there. Everyone there was lovely and helpful- when we got a flat tire, they found someone (affordable) to quickly fix it for us. And the food is incredible! We are vegetarians and we had lunch and dinner (and breakfast the following morning) and it was delicious and so memorable. Make sure to bring a flashlight, it’s dark at night! And you need to be able to walk up and down lots of steps.
