My group toured the Biltmore and property.
My group toured the Biltmore and property. We also stayed at the Omni Grove Park Inn! We ate one evening at the Corner Kitchen and we were very glad to support Asheville in coming back after their flood. We also at on the Terrace at Grove Park Inn one evening. That venue is bar none the best in the USA.Guest review byAbles RigsbeeUnited States - 10.0

Cherokee has really done some growing since I was there shortly after the pandemic. Great new eateries, nice hotels. Getting around Cherokee was easy. Husband and I are both seniors and we did the Oconaluftee River tubing. We had a ball! Highly recommend. Only wish we had planned to stay in Cherokee longer.Guest review byCovingtonUnited States - 10.0
Great little town with a variety of restaurants.
Great little town with a variety of restaurants. Didn't like having to pay to park anywhere near the shops and restaurants on King Street. The Peddler steakhouse was delicious and traffic was very light all weekend. The foggy mountain gem mine was fun sifting through the soil to find gems. Found some really cool stuff and the staff actually takes time to sort through your entire bag to explain what you found. The wife is having them cut & polish a rose quartz we found and is having it set in a ring for less than $90.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 10.0

Blowing Rock is the prettiest and most dog friendly town.
Blowing Rock is the prettiest and most dog friendly town. If you visit only one North Carolina mountain town, make it Blowing Rock. I wouldn't recommend it for the physically challenged, but for the able bodied, it is a dream destination. Walking is essential. From the streets, to the parks, to shopping, and nearby Bass Lake, you will easily put in around 5 miles a day. Even just driving through is a treat for the eyes. Beautiful flowers line Main Street with a gorgeous array of multiple colors.Guest review bycox - 10.0
This is a yearly trip for us.
This is a yearly trip for us. Waynesville has great restaurants like The Sweet Onion and Bogart's. There are lots of shops to browse and buy beautiful things.....great furniture at Massey's and always enjoy the General Mast Store. There are festivals here regularly; those times would really be crowded in the already tight streets. Patience is a virtue for sure!!! Most magnificently, Waynesville is the gateway to the Smoky Mountains where there are thousands of opportunities for hiking, biking, rock climbing, hiking vast distances like Art Loeb Trail. And do make a visit to the Little Drummer Pottery heading towards Maggie Valley! Lake Junaluska is another wonderful place with a 2.7 mile hike around the late. It is a conference center, but all are welcome to hike, enjoy The Rose Walk, The cross at the top of the hill which is shining brightly is the most beautiful site. WE have met many lovely people in Waynesville and enjoyed the crafts and artwork of the area.Guest review byCarolineUnited States - 10.0

If you like exploring small, charming towns, then Dillsboro is a great place to add to your list! There are several fabulous places to go, but I highly recommend Haywood Smokehouse if you are looking for a place to eat. You will NOT be disappointed. I am super picky about my brisket--so when I tell you that their brisket is the absolute best I've ever had--I mean it!!Guest review bySeanUnited States - 8.0
Hotel was a great location.
Hotel was a great location. We were skiing at Cataloochee, and this was a wonderful place to stay. About 10 mins from Maggie Valley, 20 mins from the ski resort, just a few minutes from Waynesville where you can find pretty much anything you need. It's really pretty, lots of birdlife nearby (swans, Bald Eagles). This would be a great hotel for summer when all of the outdoor activities are available. Lots of great restaurants in Waynesville (Frog Level Brewing, Haywoods BBQ) and some gems in Maggie Valley- Brickhouse Burgers & Pizza, Caffeine & Chaos.Guest review byChristieUnited States - 10.0

This was the first time I spent some quality time in downtown Sylva and we really enjoyed it. Lulu's on Main has amazing food, Jenna at the wine bar was awesome, the breweries were good and we enjoyed the variety of the shops. We also enjoyed the Jackson County River Walk, I kayaked on nearby Bear Lake and we hiked off the Blue Ridge Parkway. All in all its a great spot that we will come back to again.Guest review byTrent
