Ramsey is a relatively quiet neighbourhood but as we were visiting family, that wasn’t an issue. We ate in a wonderful family run restaurant, Giovanna’s, on the Main St -fabulous!!! Anthony’s Pizza place next door was awesome and Uncle Guiseppes supermarket was within walking distance and offered the most amazing selection of food which we took back to the room to eat in the evening. We didn’t hire a car because New Jersey traffic is a bit crazy 😁😁 so we walked everywhere. As a result, our step count was in the tens of thousands each day!! Ramsey train station is a 30 minute walk from the hotel and trains run every hour to Hoboken, connecting by PATH to NYC. Mahwah oh is a great area, I used to live in that area. So I only have good things to say about the town. Plus, it’s very close to a lot of things, including New York City and the mountains. A very nice, safe town. There were many families and groups of people going out for dinner, shopping and the like. There are many coffee shops that are delicious and have nice ambiance. There are grocery stores that are amazing, big, beautiful, clean and great products and prices. There are plenty of things to do, being very close to NYC, Met Life Stadium and malls and movie theaters. There are historical sites and many parks with gorgeous views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and NYC.Guest review byLisaFrance
