Wow, what a massive operation compared to the Mahwah setup.... but it was run very efficiently and smoothly. Free beakfast spread was wonderful, and the workout room was easy to access, spacious, and nice to use even for my young daughter.

I bring my twin grandsons to swim. I’m from Oklahoma and I travel to new York twice a year to see them. They don’t have the freedoms to run and play with newyorks crowds and small apts. so we loved the freedom of great space and the restaurant across.

    Don’t stay in New Jersey to save money , if you are visiting New York ( Manhattan ) you will end up paying a lot for transportation. Add that money and stay in city center .you can save money and energy

    The hotel was spotlessly clean, had plenty of good quality towels, really friendly staff. Great breakfast options but they use too much plastic and paper plates, bowls and utensils. They do offer reusable crockery and utensils but they are not obviously easy to find.

    Mahwah oh is a great area, I used to live in that area. So I only have good things to say about the town. Plus, it’s very close to a lot of things, including New York City and the mountains. And the Ramapo Valley area is just beautiful. Oh, we ate at the Mahwah bar and Grill and it was fantastic. Good prices and good food. Ok

    Ramsey is a relatively quiet neighbourhood but as we were visiting family, that wasn’t an issue. We ate in a wonderful family run restaurant, Giovanna’s, on the Main St -fabulous!!! Anthony’s Pizza place next door was awesome and Uncle Guiseppes supermarket was within walking distance and offered the most amazing selection of food which we took back to the room to eat in the evening. We didn’t hire a car because New Jersey traffic is a bit crazy 😁😁 so we walked everywhere. As a result, our step count was in the tens of thousands each day!! Ramsey train station is a 30 minute walk from the hotel and trains run every hour to Hoboken, connecting by PATH to NYC. The town is easy to navigate and local folk are very friendly and helpful.

    A very nice, safe town. There were many families and groups of people going out for dinner, shopping and the like. There are many coffee shops that are delicious and have nice ambiance. There are grocery stores that are amazing, big, beautiful, clean and great products and prices. There are plenty of things to do, being very close to NYC, Met Life Stadium and malls and movie theaters. There are historical sites and many parks with gorgeous views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and NYC.
