- From $203.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 830 reviewsWe stayed in the Starlight Room on the 4th floor and had amazing views throughout the day. Best part is the 4th floor is connected via a bridge to the parking space, so you don't have to climb the stairs if you have a bunch of suitcases. The room itself is wonderful, carpet is thick and plush, the shower is FANTASTIC probably the best shower I've ever had, and the bathrobes are super comfortable. I'm sure everyone's already mentioned the decor, but underneath the glitzy gaudy surface is a really solid hotel with great showers, wonderful beds, good views and good solid food from the steakhouse and cafe.Guest review bykakigoriCanada
- From $228.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,459 reviewsView from the grounds of the resort were exceptional. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. I would suggest paying less for the room (example, book the cheaper rooms) since once you are outside, there are a ton of seating areas where you can enjoy amazing views. No need to pay for the high end rooms since for us, we didn’t sit on our balcony anyway. The views elsewhere at the resort were far better. We saw a ton of whales passing through as we sat outside on the benches on the left of the resort and also from the high chairs at the bar area during breakfast.Guest review byJulieCanada

Los Angeles is an exciting place full of interesting landmarks, although I found it a bit ran down. Central Los Angeles is full of homeless people and dirty streets, which made me sad. Other than that it's a multicultural city with a fascinating history. I wouldn't recommend visiting in the summer, though: heat and humidity are unbearable; there are repairs and diversions on the bus routes and public services seem to work slower. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, I would definitely come back. Also, people are super friendly and it feels safe.Guest review bySaraPeru - 8.0
It was cleaner than expected and felt safer than expected...
It was cleaner than expected and felt safer than expected based on news the last few years. We heard that current mayor is trying to get things turned around. There were a lot of empty stores downtown, but shopping was better than expected. Still has some of the great restaurants from our visits many years ago - Scomas, Tadich Grill, Stinking Rose. It is still an interesting and beautiful city in many ways. The transportation to get around is still interesting with cable cars, trolleys and trains, and we felt safe. The hills are a challenge for walking great distances in a hurry. There are so many neighborhoods to explore, each with their own vibe. Loved the Italian area and sought out Graffeo Coffee Roasters, which is great! We had some great coffee at the Bohemian Cigar Store & Cafe. Best coffee ever in the Italian sense. We love the Buena Vista Bar was still there and serves a great breakfast (recommended by firemen) as well as their wonderful Irish coffee. We had a lovely meal with beautiful view and good food at McCormick & Schmick’s at Ghirardelli Square. Magnin Street Cafe & Bistro was a fun find. We ate there 2 evenings. Loved the Bistro Boudin on the Wharf. The food and service were great. Unexpected. Beautiful dining above the bakery area. Serve lunch and dinner. Had a view as well. The weather was almost perfect. Just beautiful in early September!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
I wish I would have had more time to see everything.
I wish I would have had more time to see everything. Old Town was awesome, We had Mexican at Casa Del Fred's and it was amazing. The harbor is a must see. I was just in Aww of the scenery everywhere we went. I would love to go back to San Diego and keep exploring. Coming from Arkansas its was very different but very inviting.Guest review byStephania - 10.0
The city was clean and nice.
The city was clean and nice. We felt safe walking late at night. There were some mental heath homeless people at night. But durning the day we did not see anyone sketchy. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. We has a car and were able to see other areas that were not as well kept as Anaheim. It would have been nice to have more time to see more of the area.Guest review bystevenUnited States - 10.0

The Monterey Bay aquarium was top notch, not only with animals, but facilities and numerous volunteers. The area is beautiful and weather was fabulous. We had the absolute best clam chowder, so fresh. Plus we could watch the otters, seals and dolphins in the kelp beds from the window as we ate.Guest review byTerriUnited States - 10.0

Santa Barbara is and has been a fun location to vacation in. The costs are high but there are extensive options for hotels and restaurants of all sorts. The scenery and beaches are top notch. I like staying in South Tahoe for a lot of the hiking and places to visit and eat...however, I would probably never go during this holiday weekend ever again; it was too busy too crowded and too noisy but usually it's a really fun place to go to . Lots of historical places to visit.Guest review bykmt travel chicUnited States - 6.0

I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.Guest review byRufusUnited States - 10.0

I wish I would have planned to stay longer, The downtown and riverfront area looked fantastic. I was able to spend a morning paddling at Fulsom Lake, which was a short drive from the hotel, and it was just spectacular. Highly recommend, and I am planning a visit back for sure.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

Unfortunately most museums and the botanical gardens were closed when we were there, we arrived Monday and left Thursday, it seems to be a city that mostly works Thursday to Sunday. The hotel was walking distance from the city center, easy to walk around, beautiful city, we didn't have enough time to do the hikes in the canyons, I would love to go back for that.Guest review byMartaSwitzerland
