The place is beautiful! Loved the extra care - bottles of water and bathrobes in the bedroom; coffee, tea and cookies in the lounge. Breakfast was amazing - not your usual hotel continental breakfast. You really feel like you’re a guest in someone’s home.

Everything in the hotel was first class. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, lovely balcony with a great view. Everything was immaculate. Breakfast was excellent with a full buffet of hot and cold food. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The lady at the front desk designed a great itinerary for us as we continued on our way. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Such a lovely gem!! The area were the hotel is located is beautiful, such a cute little beach, the views from the front lawn towards the ocean are stunning, with all the trees and beautiful flowers. We arrived after they had closed the lobby for check-in but had no problem finding our key and access to our room. Both the room and the bathroom were really clean. Beds were really comfortable and it was really quiet at night. Our surprise came in the morning when we went to the main building for breakfast: what a delight! The view from the dining area is gorgeous, the nice jazz music in the background, the DELICIOUS popovers, muffins and breakfast in general, the lovely owners...it felt like living inside of one of those summer reads. We wished we could have stayed a little longer than just one night

I loved the total package . The location was wonderful, the decor in and out was so nice and thought out . The breakfast was wonderful and I tried something different daily . They had a honor system bar upstairs and I just had to check it out, and yes I was honorable . The decor in the back yard was great, and you could go to different areas .

The innkeepers, Janis and Peter, were warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home in their home. Every room was bright, charming, and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing, prepared and served by Janis each morning. Different every day and made with local ingredients.

Touristy as all get out, but I knew that going in. Gorgeous town, lovely little bay. Houses and locals seemed great and I would highly recommend Camden over Portland (I believe that's some debate in this part of Maine.)

Camden offers a great blend of outdoor activity and shopping, eating, culture. We had excellent weather and walked almost everywhere we went. We did not ever feel either rushed or bored. We had a great lunch at the deli in town (rooftop seating). Our favorite place for dinner was Bistro Le Cave.

My friends and I chose Rockport to stay because it was right between Rockland and Camden and we had plans for that area. Farnsworth Museum in Rockland, shops in Camden and hit many lighthouses on our way back to southern Maine.

Small town feel, friendly people, pretty harbor area, relaxing, not super crowded when we were there in August, enjoyed sunset cruise on the Lazy Jack II, Bistro La Cave, Zoot coffee shop,, Owl and Turtle bookstore/coffee shop, Cashmere Goat yarn store, lots of art galleries. Short walking distance from our B&B.
