We love everything about the area, the western atmosphere, the rodeo, the architecture, the history, the people and their welcoming spirit, all of it! The area is beautiful and the abundance of wildlife made it so much better. It’s just outside of Cody, so you still have easy access to supplies when needed but is also close to the east entrance of Yellowstone. We have been enjoying our stay! Stayed at the Irma which had a restaurant,bar with entertainment, a gift shop and a trolley which took u on a 1 hr tour of the city, we went to the Cody cattle co supper show last nite and it was amazing. After that we went to the rodeo which was u believable! Exciting. Today we when to the Buffalo Bill Center of the west! So much to absorb! Need a couple of days! We absolutely loved everything about the Lodge! It was Totally Magnificent! Would recommend to all our Family & Friends! We felt like we were part of the family. We experienced the best top notch hospitality compared to the 4 other nights spent outside each of Yellowstone Gates.
