We did have lunch at Diego‘s with our furry little girl in her stroller so they do accept pets on the patio and the food was delicious. The dog beach right after pier Park was phenomenal ! There is a place where your dog can go to the beach. Pier Park has lots of shops /restaurants/multiple seating areas outside for people watching. It's a great city with lots to see. From The Sea Aquarium to The Hard Rock hotel and casino and of course Bush Gardens. The best retail therapy with Hyde Park and International Plaza. WE stayed away from down town. I know a lot of people want to be in the crowd. but for us the quiet in the evening was great. The people we met were all very nice and welcoming, even giving us suggestions on places to eat that we might not have thought about because they were not on Duval St. We really enjoyed the trip to Sunset Key and dinner at Latitudes to watch the sunset. Aquatica water park was only a 20-minute drive, and SeaWorld was just in between. The Old Town House is adorable and caters to all types of people. This was our first trip to Destin. The beaches are beautiful and not over crowded. There were many great places to eat, we enjoyed Parlor Donuts, Beignet and Brews, Lulus, and the Backporch. Also great shopping. We did a lot school clothes shopping while we were there. Both Destin Commons and Destin Outlets had great stores. We also went to the Gulfarium and our girls did the Penguin Encounter which was a lot of fun for them.
