The staff is attentive and friendly, they welcome you with a glass of bubbly wine and water. Theo was especially friendly and charming, he showed us the way to our room We enjoy the 148 veranda room with back door directly to the patio with a lovely ocean view the cleanliness, details and spaces of the room and bathroom were perfect The bed has the best mattress (No so much the pillows) Very nice common spaces with varied activities for the whole family and tastes (the little beach is no so great to swimming but you can spent the day very calm and relax with the sun and beautiful views) The restaurant has very good selección, the food is good size and good quality made at the moment Dinner outside with the sunset is wonderful! Stephany has very nice attention! The breakfast was good too and Estefania was exceptional with the attention at the restaurantGuest review byVeronicaUnited States
- From $333 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,432 reviewsThere is no other property in the upper keys like the Islander. The rooms (which are super clean) are huge and have beautiful vaulted ceilings and giant windows overlooking your own private screened-in porch and patio. The pool area is beautiful and has two pools and a full restaurant that actually serves quality food and drinks. There’s a big beautiful beach area and water sports provided by the hotel onsite. definitely Recommend!Guest review byalexanderUnited States

I Love Key West in the Fall-in particular October.
I Love Key West in the Fall-in particular October. It's lower rates at motels and so many good restaurants to eat at make this a wonderful R & R experience. I usually rent a bicycle to get around the local sites. The ocean at this time of the year is perfect with little to no people around. So if you're here for R & R or partying, this is the place to come.Guest review byCharles S BinghamUnited States - 10.0
This is my favourite Key.
This is my favourite Key. The level of restaurants and entertainment was of a high quality. Snook Inn was excellent. I had the linguine la mer. What a fantastic dish, and a guitarist played as we watched the sun set. Snorkelling is also awesome in that area.Guest review byDanielleUnited States - 10.0

Marathon is centrally located in between Key Largo and Key West. It offers lots of great amenities. It’s also one of the better fishing spots. The 7 mile bridge offers lots of different type of fishing.Guest review byleighUnited States - 10.0
Quiet, serene town but had the trappings that we wanted.
Quiet, serene town but had the trappings that we wanted. The restaurant venues were good and not overpriced. The conveniences of a CVS/ Walgreens was present. I love Starbucks and there was one less than 10 minutes away. The local bar/restaurant was within walking distance on the same street. It was fine. All was fine. Just 95 degree balmy tepid temperatures are difficult, but that’s the Keys in the summertimeGuest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0

Tavernier is between Key Largo & Islamorada, so it is in a great location. It's an easy drive from Miami airport (just over one hour). It is about a 1 hr. 45 min. drive to Key West, which makes a great day trip (we did it twice during our eight-day stay. Our favorite dining spots are Capt. Craig's (superb chef-prepared meals), The Fish House (a Key Largo institution), and High Tide (best breakfast). For groceries there is Winn Dixie a few minutes from the apartment and Publix in Key Largo (we prefer Publix for better produce and selection). For activities, there's a small beach at Ocean Pointe which was nice, not too crowded, and relaxing. There is John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, only a few minutes away, with lots of activities like snorkeling, canoeing, paddle boarding, and glass bottom boat rides. We always take a half day of fishing with Capt. Jordan or Capt. Matt (Key Largo Fishing Adventures) and if you like to sky dive, go to Key West for a day and jump with one of the great instructors there. It's worth it! Getting around in the Keys is super easy - one road in (Overseas Hwy.) and marked by MM (mile markers) so everything is straight forward.Guest review byHereWeGoAgainUnited States - 6.0

The bungalows are fairly new, but are not well kept you can wipe the floor with a white washcloth damp in it and it’ll be completely dirty with just one wipe in the drawers. There were hair. The bed had a stain on the bed liner after removing the sheets and putting them in the shower for the maid to wash, they never washed that bedliner. It was completely discussed. It probably would’ve left if I didn’t known it was there. There were problems with the room as far as a globe on a light in the bathroom was broken. The room could’ve use a good cleaning, but as I said, it’s fairly new just not well. Maintained probably won’t look nice for long.Guest review byTodd - 10.0
Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant.
Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant. Not too flashy, not too expensive. 1/2 a dozen places to eat. A full size grocery store. All of 25 miles from Key west. Great fishing. Plenty of key deer. Just a nice laid back spot in the lower keys.Guest review byMatthewUnited States - 6.0

The location was good for getting to Key West, only 20 mins away. there is a good size fridge in the room. the view is nice, but can't enjoy it outside because of the bugs. The Tiki bar is still closed. There's no coffee machine in the room, which really is inexcusable for me. To pay $800+ for 3 nights and have to go outside to the tiki bar to get coffee, no thanks! You need to bring your own hair conditioner, and body lotion. Bottom line, I would not recommend . I didn't eat in the restaurant there, but their menu is high priced. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was grungy looking.Guest review byLourdesUnited States - 10.0

As a lifelong Parrot Head, I’ve always wanted visit Key West and explore all the iconic spots that inspired Jimmy Buffett early in his career. I finally got the chance to take a quick two-day getaway with my daughter—and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The vibe on Duval Street was everything I hoped for (especially at Sloppy Joe’s). We crammed a lot into our short trip and could’ve easily stayed a few more days, but we left feeling grateful for every moment. Highlights included an incredible dinner at Louie’s Backyard, a fantastic breakfast at Blue Heaven, great conversation at Captain Tony’s, dancing and singing along at Sloppy Joe’s, and of course, catching that picture-perfect sunset at Mallory Square.Guest review byBill
