Ours had really nice decor, two large Queen beds and a kitchenette area. It was really quiet. It is outside Leavenworth and out of the touristy bustle. The drive to and fro Leavenworth was enjoyable.

Located in the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Der Sportsmann Suites suite offers a fully equipped kitchen. Free Wi-Fi and free guest parking for 1 vehicle is provided. The location is the best you will find! Apartment is clean and has all basic amenities. I usually stay in 4 star Hilton or Hyatt’s but for this trip wanted location. I was blown away, such a perfect family holiday stay. Will do it next year for sure! First night I wasn’t feeling well so I sat on the balcony and watched all the festivities and could watch my kids sledding. Picture is taken from room #2 balcony. Room 1 also has gorgeous Mountain View’s but facing south away from downtown towards the hospital.

All staff I met was wonderful! I told Kim (who checked me in) that I came to Leavenworth for my birthday, and she put a beautiful balloon, little tort, and card in my room -- quite a surprise when I came back from dinner! The complimentary breakfast was unexpected and very good. I also liked the 24/7 availability of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the lobby. The location of the hotel is perfect. I didn't use the swimming pool and so can't comment, but I noticed that it was very popular among guests, a sign that it must be great!
