It is a very walkable city and a beautiful city. There are so many things to see and so many interesting buildings, people, artwork, architecture, parks, etc. that you could really enjoy this city endlessly. It is calm and serene in the early morning, bustling and exciting in the a.m. as people go to work, it remains exciting throughout the day. The nighttime is a whole new environment with reflections of buildings on water features and rivers and marquees and signs and nightlife lighting up ... and as the night dies down and the crowds die down, the peace returns. There are all kinds of hardworking people moving about all throughout the day. People are walking dogs, lots of students. Lots of international students and visitors and residents - you hear the conversations - it is exciting and reminiscent of Europe. There are parts of Boston that feel like Europe and other parts that are very cutting edge. There seems to be lots of live music, lots of cafes, lots of food choices and many places to shop; you can get almost anything you need or want in this city. It's a fantastic city. Good location to visit on day trips to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, Newport, and of course Hyannis. Spent a week and got a feel for cape cod. Ate Italian, Irish and went to a tavern. Shops on Main Street were lovely. Easy access to ferries. Peaceful.Guest review byKathyCanada - 8.0

My husband and I have been to Cape Cod many times. There are great restaurants in the area and West Yarmouth is a good location for travelling to other parts of the Cape. It was so bad that we left a day early and gave up a night.
It was so bad that we left a day early and gave up a night. The downstairs neighbor was throwing up all night and that was all we could hear. We are local and just wanted to go home because this hotel was bad. Clean but thin walls and you can hear everything. It is an old motel and they did not insulate when they renovated. It is a mile plus walk from Provincetown commercial street and you have to walk, or hire a pedi cab to get downtown. It seemed find at the beginning but it is very far and terrible walking on a small road with high speed traffic. I will never stay there again. I booked too late any my other choices were taken and that is why I stayed here and I regret it. I should have not gone to the Cape at all. Such a terrible experience.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Easy for roadtrip stopover, located off the intersection of two major highways I95 and I93. Perfectly easy to drive to Boston: downtown in 15-18 minutes straight away unless Boston itself might have a traffic jam but otherwise, very hassle free drive. Yarmouth House of pizza right down street was very good.Hearth and Kettle restaurant across the street.
