The hotel was very nice and clean! Everyone was so helpful and very welcoming! The shower water pressure was amazing! We had the "studio" hotel room, which was very spacious and came with a desk, fridge, closet, storage, couch, large movable tv, and microwave. The TV showed us local restaurants nearby and had a lot of good resources of information. Our bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, and it was very large for two people to sleep in comfortably. The garage was an extra 20 a night, but it was worth it due to the location and accessibility. The hotel location was really nice because you are close to walk to coffee shops, restaurants and bars, yet you are a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere in the city! Really enjoyed our stay!

Loved the room layout! My kids felt like they had a separate "room" and loved it. Nice to have the bathroom centrally located. Also nice that we could situate the kids farthest from the door. The cabin theme throughout was a nice touch and we all got a kick out of reading the names outside all the rooms. Water park was very clean and in good condition. Staff at the water park were friendly and accommodating and there was ample seating available.

The night before our arrival I called to make sure that the king suite I had reserved was on the same property as the swim out hot tub which it turned out it was not, but the hotel was happy to move me to the property I wanted to be at and the room I got was a beautiful king condo with a full kitchen, fireplace, lake view, and a jacuzzi tub at no extra charge. We were given complimentary smores kits.

This area is more upscale than many, and so has good shopping and eateries galore. We used the location to venture every direction - Valley Fair, MoA, Uptown/Downtown Mpls, zoos, museums - most within a 15-20 minute drive. Really, some of the best shopping available within a relatively small area means more time for fun. There is no shortage of activities to reach from Bloomington, and we will stay there again. Though Fat Lorenzo's pizzeria has a Minneapolis address, it's worth a little drive.

We went to see a ballgame at Target Field. Beautiful stadium and got to watch our Padres take the win, sorry Twins fans. ;p I wish the stadium would have sold any opposing team merch, I feel like they were missing out on a whole stream of revenue as we were prepared to buy. We ate at Mad Chicken as it was a new place for us.. the food was SO GOOD, it put other more popular chicken restaurant chains to shame. We would like to come back to Minneapolis as we found the city to be clean and felt safe when we were out walking about. The building murals are really cool too.

We visit Duluth every year for City On The Hill Music Festival. This time we were there for the Tall Ships Festival Of Sail 2025. So, 2 times in 2025. We ate at Grandma's and Little Angie's - both I would highly recommend!!! We also ate at the Duluth Perkin's - also a great choice!!! We always go to the Portland Malt Shop for Ice Cream or a Malt - delicious, but expect a lengthy wait in line. We took a cruise on the Vista Star, which is always fun and relaxing!!! We visited Two Harbors another day. And went to Burlington Station and Callie's for some unique Fudge - Pistachio, Cookies and Cream, and Cotton Candy flavors, and Popcorn. Love Duluth and the Two Harbors areas!!!

We liked visiting Rochester during my visit to Mayo. Did some sightseeing. Mayo tour and Olmstead Cty. museum was great. Supper at the Bleu Duck was great. Getting around Rochester was difficult. Wish there was a street map of the Rochester downtown and surrounding area. This would have made it much easier to get around and find places.

My sister and I like the Treasure Chest Thrift store and Modern Barnyard. We like that there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. We ate at Granite City and the food was very good. it's out of the way, but really, you can get almost anywhere in the mpls area in a half hour. it was contiguous with chanhassen where most of my activities took place. it's kind of a small-ish town so it's not congested. i like that it's near the highways.

My friend took me around to places of interest, restaurants and artistic venues. Couldn't really tell you where all we ate, most of it was middle eastern and it was quite good. I never felt like I was as close as I was to metropolitan areas because it was quiet and secluded. Getting around, not the easiest due to construction, but detours well marked
