We loved Silver Dollar City.
We loved Silver Dollar City. Definitely will go back to visit . This will be a must on our future visits to Branson. They had great shows, and rides for all ages. Some of the absolute best roller coasters we have ever been on. We loved Mel’s diner with the singing servers!!!They were all so talented and sweet! The Christian bookstore behind Mel’s diner was a great find with a wonderful selection of gifts. The 50’s diner with the drive in behind and the jukebox was a hit. It was like stepping back in time. We had a great time at the Track lots of fun for the whole family.Easy commute to all the places we went. Hospitality was great . Branson was very enjoyable for all ages. The continental breakfast was horrible. The room had ants in it. The tub had hair long hair all in the tub I had to clean the tub get some cleanser and clean the tub. I was on a cross country trip. The adjacent Steak and Shake did not conform to expectations I established during the 1955-2019 period. My motel had no outlet accessible to the parking, so I could not use the crankcase oil heater in my car. I use it more north of Missouri than in Missouri. The old downtown area with the French Style buildings and the shops throughout that area are worth the time to detour off the main Highway and take some pleasant time out. The surrounding area and entertainment are great. Didn't see much of St. Louis, though I visited the Cathedral. It is a wonderful place. The Arch also a good place to visit. need to go there early though so as to get in. Visited various shopping Malls as well. Good variety offered. Ate at different places. Olive Garden was my favourite. Saint Robert was a business trip for me and everything went well. My favorite places were The Office Cigar lounge and Bar and Waffle House. It was very easy to get around in Saint Robert and there is more than meets the eye. Great restaurants, great historical sites, and shopping to name a few. I would on my next visit, avoid the winter season as it was by the skin of my teeth that I missed the snow before I arrived and after I left. Plenty of shopping and dining options. The mall isn't what it used to be, but there are strip malls and a lot of other stores. There are a lot of attractions in the area. Dined at Salvatore's Italian Restaurant on Rt 40. The staff was very friendly, food was good and reasonably priced. Visited Kauffman stadium. Very clean, well kept. Travelled when there wasn't a lot of traffic, wouldn't recommend travelling the area or I-70 during rush hour times.
