The smell of the room when I walked in was amazing. It smelt not only clean but like it had gotten ready for a nice date. I dont know what smell it was, but it was amazing! My room was clean and I put my own hair products away because they have Tarocco shower products, which I just love! I had never been to Montana before, but if this is what I can expect, I'll definitely be returning! Great staff, very quiet even though I assume they had a good number of guests based on the number of cars in the parking lot. Zero issues parking in their large lot WITH Security cameras. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable here.

Missoula is a busy college city with a lot to do. The people we encountered were friendly. We even ran into people from our home state. We ate at some good restaurants and there is a lot of beauty and things to see and do within an hour or two drive from the heart of Missoula. We visited Historic Fort Missoula which was really cool. We also visited the Bison Range on the Flathead Reservation which I highly recommend. Also, Caras Park is great with river access. The visitor center is great and helpful for planning your activities while in Missoula. I would recommend having a burger at Frugals and also having a meal at The Montana Club Restaurant.

A great little town with several really good places to eat. The only negative is the road up into the Yellowstone park is NOT a fun drive. It is narrow, steep and twisting with poorly banked curves - much of it 15mph. It is temporary after the flood a few years ago but for now, it’s a stressful way to begin and end the day
