- From $217.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 421 reviewsThe atmosphere at the Taos Inn is exceptional. The bed was very comfy, thank you for the extra blankets which we used because it was cold, the bath-shower combo had a grab rail for safety and our room (king suite) was quiet and charming. We enjoyed the morning coffee in the lounge and dined at the inn two nights in a row. The food at both the bar and Doc Martin's is excellent. The location right opposite the plaza was very handy. The decor was very New Mexico and having a kiva in the room was a treat. Taos is an understated little town, there are some great things to do and see here. Plan a couple of nights at least.Guest review byJanetAustralia
- From $138.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 103 reviewsUnique accommodation, fun but also comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Very dog friendly. The trailer was equipped with all necessary amenities including kitchen. The fellow who checked us in (Brenden?) was wonderful and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the blue Sparten Imperial Mansion. I booked the stay and my husband was skeptical, but when he settled in he was so impressed and delighted and enjoyed himself immensely- one of the surprising highlights of our month in the road.Guest review byWittmannCanada
- From $245.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 194 reviewsThe entire room was beautiful. It was very clean without the overbearing odor of dirt and disinfectant. It was quiet. My only complaint was that on my floor, the ice maker didn't work. But, the next floor down did, a quick ride in the elevator and I had all the ice I needed. I will probably always stay at ohkay casino in Espanola every time I spend the night there.Guest review byBRANDYUnited States

We were visiting my stepson for his birthday and decided to enjoy not only his company while in Albuquerque, but he also took us on a road trip to various cities beyond. While in Albuquerque, we did have several meals and cocktails around Old Town and downtown.Guest review byshemmer926United States - 10.0
Santa Fe is truly an international destination.
Santa Fe is truly an international destination. We live within an hour's drive of it in Rio Rancho, but it brings the world to us -- fine dining; the Santa Fe opera in the summer; chamber music festival in the fall; a variety of art galleries, museums, School of Advanced Research (SAR) lectures and field trips -- the list is only limited by the time one has to visit!Guest review byMaryhelenUnited States - 8.0

This is an older hotel but it has a lot of character and nostalgic charm that we enjoyed. Rooms were clean and the bed was good. Our room windows faced Route 66 so it was rather noisy with traffic all night and the air conditioner was rather loud as well. The bathroom had a great shower but the room was so tiny there was no where to put your toiletries. We ate in the restaurant for supper and the burgers and fries were good but nothing remarkable. If you feel newer hotels are lacking in character and charm, stay here. It was a fun stay.Guest review byIvyUnited States - 10.0
My husband and I had a terrific time in Las Cruces.
My husband and I had a terrific time in Las Cruces. We came down for a four day trip to look at homes and we found a beautiful one! If you are interested in moving to Las Cruces, I would recommend reaching to Michael Carvlin at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate- Steinborn & Associates. He took us around the town to introduce us to every aspect of the area. He discussed the good and the bad of every location. I felt that we ended up finding a lovely home in a beautiful area in Las Cruces. We're excited about moving there!Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Came for the UFO Festival and it seemed less than previous visits. Not many speakers at UFO Museum and activities were scheduled strange. Drone show on July 3rd then no fireworks on the July 4th. Most activity was on Saturday July 5th (pet costume, people costume, parade) and nothing on Sunday June 6th so left a day early. You can only go through the stores and vendors so many times especially in near 100-degree temperatures. People costume event held at noon with very little shade.Guest review byFrankUnited States - 6.0
Maybe we were there for the wrong season and didn't do...
Maybe we were there for the wrong season and didn't do enough research prior. We took our fat-tire ebikes with us and found that we could not find a trail to use for ebikes. Every trail we checked said, "No ebikes." We were really looking forward to bike riding without traffic, and they had bike lanes throughout town but there was a lot of traffic during the day. We were there for our 44th wedding anniversary and thought we'd spend time shopping, visiting local scenery, and biking. It's a small town and shops/restaurants close earlier than we expected. We did visit a few places that had great food, like the Gorge Bar and Grill for sandwich and fries, Orlando's for their Los Colores and tamales, and Chokola for chocolate and coffee mousse. All three places had wonderful servers/help (especially the Gorge). One restaurant we visited said they open at 7, but then they came out and let everyone know they'd have to stand around for another half our before they opened due to lack of staffing. The shops were nice and we exhausted ourselves by walking all day. Personally, I found the prices to be higher than where we live in a tourist center of Colorado. We left early the next day for home. If you intend to visit Taos, do some research based on what you enjoy doing to make sure you can. Check the time the stores and restaurants close. It's a cute little town but just wasn't for us.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 8.0

I like Farmington, because it is a good base to visit sites like the Aztec Ruins, Chaco Canyon, Shiprock and Four Corners. We even drove up to Durango, Colorado. Next time we plan to visit Mesa Verde from Farmington. There are lots of restaurants in town and some nice places to buy souvenirs downtown and at the trading posts.Guest review byEvaUnited States - 8.0

The caverns are a must see! So amazing and large. Plus the Guadalupe Mountain National Park in Texas is just a short drive away, too. The biggest surprise was the Living Desert State Park! It was a wonderful botanic garden and zoo. Even in the heat, it was fantastic! The food was okay - nothing awful, nothing fabulous. The people? They were awesome, so friendly and helpful!Guest review byDrpjscUnited States
