I liked that Lincoln City had enough hotels and restaurants to choose from and the Outlets that I did not visit this time although have in the past, I liked the beaches, and loved going to the Alder House glass blowing place to watch a vase being made. We loved the Maritime Museum and the fact that you could leave, go do something else, and then come back before they closed. We loved the walkability by the water and really enjoyed the scenery. We met a nice couple, who were volunteers, at the Finnish display by the Maritime Museum. They were very friendly and informative. Florence was a lovely surprise. We had never stayed there before. The downtown area was a great shopping experience. There are many awesome stores. There are several grocery stores too. next time I would like to try the group dune buggy experience. This was my first time this way so it was a good exploration. Cannon Beach is absolutely beautiful.
Cannon Beach is absolutely beautiful. More than once I caught myself saying, how is this place real? Walks on the beach around Haystack rock are mesmerizing. Don't miss going at low tide to see the starfish and sea urchins hanging out in the tide pools. Sunsets are stunning and lots of people build small campfires on the beach to watch the sun set and relax into the evening. There are lots of cute shops, coffee shops and cafes around town. It's a great little Oregon Coastal town. We ate fish and chips at the Luna in Yachats in a covered area where our dog was welcome as well.
