Not much on big cities, I live in a very rural area.
Not much on big cities, I live in a very rural area. I joined some friends that flew in from Vegas and I absolutely enjoyed myself! Seeing all the culture, just walking around the city, had an absolute blast! So many different places to eat, drink. Everyone was laid back. Kudos to the burgh!Guest review byTammiUnited States - 4.0
Despite the facility being rated “excellent” on Booking.com,...
Despite the facility being rated “excellent” on Booking.com, our experience did not reflect that. At $130 per night, the quality was quite disappointing. The finishes and materials throughout the property felt cheap and low-quality. The in-room AC unit was extremely loud, making it difficult to rest comfortably, and the toilet flush was excessively noisy—especially disruptive in a smaller family room. Basic amenities were poorly provided; essentials such as soap and toothpaste were either missing or insufficient. Additionally, the entire property, including the guest rooms, had an overwhelming chlorine smell, likely due to poor ventilation from the pool area. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations given the price point and online rating.Guest review byMinooUnited States - 8.0
In retrospect
In retrospect It is difficult to find the right mix to view and experience the quiet of farmland and Amish culture amidst bustling businesses and plenty of traffic and road construction We did enjoy the saltsburg train, Amish buggy ride and biking near Lititz. Best times were when we found some quiet time to enjoy just the views of beautiful farm houses and fields.Guest review byBillUnited States - 10.0
Erie is my hometown and return each summer.
Erie is my hometown and return each summer. The Peninsula is nice, Waldameer amusement and water park is great for families, fishing and boating are popular, lots of shopping on Upper Peach Street. The zoo is very nice, plenty of golf courses, The Warner Theater rivals anything that I've been to in NYC, several independent restaurants and bars. Sometimes traffic is slow, several homes in the heart of town are well over 100 years old, sidewalks not maintained. Lake Erie sunsets on the beach can't be beat. In general, it's a nice summer destination.Guest review byJaneUnited States - 10.0

Our stay was brief, one afternoon and evening, in Hersey, we stayed just in the park for that time. The park was amazingly clean. We went on a week day, was not too crowded. I had wished there were gluten free food options. The food selections for those with food sensitivities was very difficult.Guest review byJudy JoUnited States - 10.0
