- From $214.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 367 reviewsFrom the moment we entered the Inn and spoke to the front desk person (Fred), we were treated very well. All of the staff could not have been more accommodating. The Inn was gorgeous and very clean. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view. Although we arrived in November and could not truly appreciate the grounds, it seems very well cared for. We also had a lovely meal(one of the best on our month long touring) at the Speakeasy. The breakfast, the following morning was also excellent (recommend the Eggs Benedict). Truly regretted leaving. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the Shenandoah Valley.Guest review byFredCanada

I really liked it, but I would need to visit again to really look around and visit the sites. I only traveled there to go to Buc-Ees. Didn't know that it was game day for the University, so next year, I may make it an entire weekend to visit the sites and get a ticket to the game.Guest review byYolandraUnited States - 10.0

We had a great time enjoying the outdoors and natural beauty of the area. Shopping options such as Walmart were readily available, which allowed us to have meals at our cottage pretty easily. The caverns are a spectacular must see attraction. The national park is probably underrated for it beautiful views and trails. We were only there a few days, but expect to return to see more. We did a rafting excursion and would like to come back to kayak next time. The one downside is there seemed to be limited dining options.Guest review bySnyder - 10.0
Loved the caverns; great family memory..
Loved the caverns; great family memory..The historic downtown was a really cool place at night all lit up with some great shops to choose from. We aren't adventurous with food so went to Applebees and Cracker Barrel but our B and B hosts said the local spots in the historic part of town are top notch. We loved Mountain Home BnB and hiking the AT is always a great date day especially after the amazing breakfast at Mountain Home.Guest review byAndrews - 10.0

The room was adequate but apparently had not been cleaned properly. Used soap was in the shower and toilet paper was almost empty. Made me question how much effort had been put into cleaning the rest of the room.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The New Market battlefield tour and Virginia Museum of the Civil war are top notch. A small fee for the museum tour and video but well worth it, it has an excellent description of the Civil War battles from beginning to end.Guest review byChuckDCUnited States - 10.0
Charlottesville has beautiful weather, architecture,...
Charlottesville has beautiful weather, architecture, landscapes, and history all set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is home to our nation's third President, Thomas Jefferson, who resided upon a mountaintop at Monticello. It is also most known for the University of Virginia which Mr. Jefferson designed and built as an academical village. It is my alma mater and I bask in memories of its beauty, beautiful lawns and gardens, and its equestrian focus, including Foxfield steeple chases.Guest review byDuncanUnited States
