Brand new Hotel! Very clean, modern and something for all ages. I never stayed at a Tru hotel before. But because I enjoyed it so much, I may only look for Tru in the future. Thank you to all the staff that were all so kind and helpful. Breakfast was great too!

It is located right across the highway from Coastal Carolina University. The CCU shuttle stopped there but not sure if that was for a visiting softball team. And it’s minutes away from lots of restaurants, Walmart, CVS, etc. also only a short right up Myrtle Beach and the airport. No restaurant at the hotel but the included breakfast in the morning had nice choices - bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal and hot options like eggs, sausage, French toast, etc. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Would definitely stay again if visiting CCU

I stayed in North Myrtle beach for the first time; in the past we had always stayed in South myrtle. North myrtle is the best by far. Avista Resort is the perfect family hotel. People in N. Myrtle are still happy to see you and bid you good morning!! Stores are minutes away. The beach is clean, not any old ciggarette butts and trash.

Greenville is a great city, safe, lot of sidewalk cafes and interesting shops. Good for a day or a week. We just wanted to get away for Labor Day weekend. Nightlife varies so have to do a little research, but there’s something for everyone, young to seniors. We are latter category, but found a nice place for dinner and dance.

Restaurant signage on roads was nearly non-existent. NO parking near beaches. ( $3.00 per hour when you did find some ) paying a toll to get to the light house ( $9.36 ) with no parking once we got there was what I remember the most about HILTON HEAD. Not a real friendly community for travel, period.

Rock Hill is a beautiful little city and an absolute gem just south of charlotte. Christmasville is an amazing Festival totally worth traveling for. The Town Square with a huge fountain reminds me of a Piazza in italy. Rock hill has so much to offer and so many little nooks to explore. Love Rock Hill

We loved Hatcher Gardens, it was probably the highlight of our trip. The downtown area was a bit hard to navigate with a larger vehicle but there was a lot to see/do there as well. The staff at the Hub City Train Museum was phenomenal- knowledgeable and friendly. If you head our toward Roebuck there's a tiny diner in a strip mall (Grill 221) and the burgers are delicious (and huge)!

We have family there so we visit every 3 months. Lots of traffic but it flows quickly enough. Gives you time to check out shops as you are sitting in traffic. We love the "old town" section. The shops are awesome. And if you happen to go between April & September the Farmers Market is wonderful!
