Nice area to stay when visiting friends in downtown Richmond. Easier (and cheaper) than staying downtown and trying to find somewhere to park. Easy to find, secure parking, great location, and close to plenty of stores and restaurants.

Staff were always friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Bed was super comfy and we ended up staying 6 nights! Room facilites were great. Room was clean and serviced on request. Breakfast was a good choice and always well stocked. Great location. Parking was good and we always felt safe. Hotel was super quiet (apart from the usual early monring road traffic noise). we hardly knew others were staying as the room was so quiet. It felt very homely.

I do feel like 10 star reviews are reserved for higher end places, so please understand that the 7 is still a high rate for the value that you get for your money. It's a great stop for a one night stay if you are traveling on a budget. The pet fee is one of the cheaper ones as well - $15 per pet.

No fuss. Clean and safe neighborhood. Good parking. Convenient and cheap commute to DC w/ Uber.
