The hotel was exceptionally clean, towels and bed linens were a good quality. The room was large and had a balcony. I appreciate that it had a 4 cup coffee maker, a fridge and a microwave. The location was excellent to walk to all the stores and restaurants in in Mariposa and was about a 1 hour drive to Yosemite National Park. (Longer if there was traffic...go early on a weekend) The hotel was VERY quiet. I couldn't hear any of my neighbors even though it was full every night. The pool area was clean. The air conditioner worked well.

It was a great value with the quality evening time. In November, it’s getting dark early, so parents face a problem: how to keep kiddos entertained without much hassle and expense. In Cedar lodge, they have an indoor pool and a game room with table tennis, board games, and more. Truth be told, I had some hard time trying to keep them outside, as they were eager to go back to the hotel’s game room! And the location is very close to Yosemite national park. Also, I liked the lighting around the outdoor pool and the area next to the river

Staff courteous and friendly. Place was clean and comfortable. Totally in the center of downtown. We are so ready to comeback. I 100% recommend this place if you are looking for relax and a place to rest and enjoy the surroundings. We were there for one of my son's wedding at Yosemite National Park and we needed a place for the 5 members of our family. Mother lode lodge had the perfect place with an apartment with 3 rooms, kitchen, dining and living room and and extra TV room. We loved it.

Very nice King room with modern furniture and ample cupboard space. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy with a good shower. The hotel was well located very close (15 mins) drive to Yosemite National Park. The Lucky Buck Cafe was handy for dinner. The microwave was handy for ready meals. It was 15 minute drive to Groveland. Hotel Charlotte had a good menu. I would stay at this hotel again.

Great location if visiting Yosemite National Park. Hotel is situation an easy 5-10 minute drive up the main road adjacent to the hotel to the park entrance. Room had a lovely position overlooking the Merced River with a swimming pool available for the block to help cool down. Room was a great size with king sized double bed, sofa and small kitchenette. Site had a great Pizza Take Out and also a well stocked shop for groceries.

Different then your average cabin,hotel. Surprise how equipped it was. Beautiful views, nature all around you , gas station next door along with a market, near by the entrance of the Yosemite national park. 2 story recreation place big enough to have a a big family gathering with plenty of sitting and a big dinning table , pool tables, air hockey, foosball, reading nook. Beautiful place

It is close to an entrance to the Yosemite national park. It takes about 10 min to get to the park (without traffic). We were late to reserve entrance to the park, so we had to leave to get in the park before 5 am. Given the hotel is just near the entrance, it was very convenient. Outside, the property looks quite nice. Coffee machine was provided in the property.

Charming hotel, conveniently located on the way to Yosemite National Park. We arrived late, left early and didn’t experience much of the hotel except the super friendly owner welcoming us. Beds were comfortable and communication before was flawlessly. Would stay here again to really feel the charm of the 130+ year old hotel.

The hotel has a good structure and is frequented by many families. It features a nice playground for children. The cabin was fully equipped with a kitchen and utensils, which was very convenient. Additionally, the hotel has a great location, VERY CLOSE to the Big Oak Flat entrance of Yosemite National Park.

It was near South gate of Yosemite national park just 25 minutes to gate. Restaurants are near by as town is small . Breakfast was good and serving lady in breakfast section was too good. Manager of hotel was very good and she has accepted my request to reduce 1 night stay. Thanks

The hotel was in an excellent location and the town of Mariposa has lots of places to eat and interesting shops. It is also very convenient for visting Yosemite National Park. We were able to park easily for free in the road right outside the hotel.

It was a nice and clean property with beautiful views and restaurant was good! but would have preferred to stay inside Yosemite National Park to be able to enjoy it as had to drive long 2 hours to hotel due to the winter storm and loss one full day.

Friendly staff and a good location in a beautiful little town. ~50min drive to the Arch Rock Entrance (Yosemite National Park), breakfast is there as well and for sure enough, we enjoyed the pool and you get everything like towels at the pool.

The apartment was beautifully decorated to match the Yosemite National Park cozy cabin vibe. The beds and sofas were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies and food which was a nice surprise to find in the fridge.

Location was good in terms of proximity to Yosemite national park, however we were not in the main building and it was a little hard to find especially since we arrived at night.

Easy to acces from main street. Comfortable beds and clean sanitary facilities. Also the staff was very nice and helpful in providing information about Yosemite national park

The hotel is about 30 minutes drive from the south entrance of the Yosemite National Park. The room is spacious and quiet. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Very good location and near to Yosemite National Park. Hotel room was big and clean and well equipped. Breakfast is provided (there is a waffle maker :) )

The location of the House on Hole Five is great to explore Yosemite National Park and the kitchen is very well equipped to allow for cooking full meals.

Just outside Yosemite national park. The host was nice and we could even charge our EV. The breakfast is more than superb for such a small hotel.
