- From $343.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 4,398 reviewsThe hotel is great. The kids particularly loved coming back from a long day of hiking and going to the Arcade room. They especially liked the air hockey. They also loved making smores in the fire outside. For the adults, we loved the all the hotel. The service and attention from the staff was exceptional. And the service seemed genuine in the sense that the staff really wanted to make sure we had a great experience. Finally, though we didn't make use of them, they had several things available to make the most of your time in Yosemite (for example, spikes to add to your shoes for the snow/ice).Guest review byJeromeSpain
- From $215.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 5.7Fair - What previous guests thought, 86 reviewsAn amazing and magical place in the foothills of Sierras. If you look for an old-style / rustic place with some character don’t look further. No your luxury brand hotel amenities, but it is in the heart of the region and has a good restaurant/ bar for reasonable priced food options.Guest review byAliUnited States

This was an ideal stopover after flying into Fresno, being just 1hr from the airport, 30 mins from Mariposa Grove and 1.5hr from Yosemite Valley. We were in a motel room and not a cabin. The room and bed were very comfortable for our one night stay.Guest review byDavalibugUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved the raw beauty of the mountains, lakes and geologic features in the area. We didn't bring or rent bikes, but will the next time. An e-bike would be great for riding up to the Mammoth Lakes and touring the whole area. We will be back again, possibly during ski season as well.Guest review bySTEVENUnited States - 10.0

The restaurants were good but we were there on Memorial Day and found out the first day we needed reservations. Our best meals were at 1850 (reservations) and the Pizza Factory (they don't take reservations). Castillo's Mexican was pretty bad. Would not recommend.Guest review byJan - 8.0
The pools are great! The restaurant is AWFUL!
The pools are great! The restaurant is AWFUL! I'd rather eat my shoe than eat at that restaurant! The bar/grill are ok, certainly better than the restaurant, but that is speaking relatively... The store is very nice, offering a good variety of snacks and drinks. The location is very good, just a few miles away from the Yosemite entrance. The staff were friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean, and, thankfully, the AC worked well (it was 109 degrees when we were there!). The bathroom lights turned on automatically whenever someone entered the room, which we didn't like, and would have liked a way to turn that feature off.Guest review byNeckmanUnited States - 10.0

The lovely family at the Berkshire Inn made our three days and nights there just perfect. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast is delicious, and the town has fun restaurants and a grocery store. With Yosemite in driving distance it was perfect for our three days exploring the park.Guest review byAlexanderUnited States - 10.0

We had a great time here, the staff, location and facilities were excellent. Our only disappointment was not staying longer. We are a family of 5, our kids are 15, 12 and 8, they all loved it here and we would definitely return.Guest review byAdam ParsonsUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Would highly recommend to anybody who loves nature and hiking, and wants to avoid having to drive into Yosemite Valley + find parking everyday. There's a few nice restaurants within Curry Village, including a bar (get the smashed burger), a pizza stall, and a dining hall-style canteen. There's also a small grocery store and outdoor gear store where you can buy anything you forgot to bring on the trip. Overall, a wonderful location that I would definitely stay in again.Guest review byAnton Rahul ObordoSingapore - 10.0
Lee Vining is a cool small town with a vintage vibe.
Lee Vining is a cool small town with a vintage vibe. It has a couple of great casual restaurants, shops with local Yosemite / Eastern Sierra themed merchandise, fishing/hiking gear and a gas station. It is the ultimate gateway stay for a trip into Yosemite National Park.Guest review bySandraUnited States - 8.0
Small town about an hour out of Yosemite.
Small town about an hour out of Yosemite. We didn't leave our cabin except to drive up to Yosemite so we didn't really experience the town. Hadn't taken this route into Yosemite before so was delighted to find the drive from Midpines into the valley to be really beautiful.Guest review byCatherineUnited States - 10.0
Great value for a couples trip to Yosemite state park.
Great value for a couples trip to Yosemite state park. Enjoyable stay at the hotel comfort free parking, fridge, coffee maker and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast started at 7am and we got enough fuel for the rest of the day doing hikes and swimming in the lake. Close location to Bass lake, Mcswain lake aqua sports, tenaye, wawona falls or Yosemite park. So much to explore you definitely need to come with your car and drive around. It’s a beautiful nature and safe clean peaceful area. Romantic, adventurous trip for us a newly we couple:) We are already excited to come again to Oakhurst!Guest review byalazUnited States
