This was perfect when you're traveling with 3 kids. My daughter was gifted a birthday cake from the restaurant for her birthday while staying in The Cliff. That was incredibly awesome and an unforgettable memory with The Cliff. The coast is very clean with friendly Lifeguard. The food is exciting and delicious, I think it'd be better if you put more VNese traditional food. Especially Everytime you see any staff around the resort, he/she will smile and greet you. It's simple but not easy to keep it. The only regret is I come during the renovation period of the main swimming pool (with full announcement from the resort by note and verbal), my oldest kid was a bit sorry because he couldn't find him in the same pool when he was 3y (2014). The staff was excellent. Beautiful views from bothe the balcony and rooftop bar. The pool was really nice and the food in both the restaurant and bar was good. Old Mui Ne (near Phan Thiet) is entertaining and one can find good seafood and western style restaurants. Basically a place for Vietnamese to enjoy the beach. The beach in Mui Ne is much nicer than Vung Tau and it is better accessible than Vung Tau due to the new expressway. With small children Asteria is certainly a good choice. Buses from the south are likely to drop you at the beach, and transfer you to town with a free minibus shuttle. I stored my luggage at the bus office and walked to Fairy stream, then caught a later shuttle. This was a good way to do it as I hate tours, and only had one more full day to see the sand dunes. Travelling to Phu Quy island is a bit time consuming (4 hours by bus to Phan Thiet then 2.5 hours by speedboat to the island) but it's definitely worth going. Many beautiful places to visit with marvellous views of the sea and rock mountains, nice beaches, cheap hotels and seafood. People here are friendly. The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive...
The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive from Dallas across the very winding road across the hills I think the drive from HCM is more straightforward but twice as long but around 3hours 30 Minutes. Recommend the Chinese Buddha and dragon fruit farm tour 👍restaurants We’re very good ( and there’s plenty of them ) .
